and for those of you who want a synopsis:

in the interview dizzy talks about how ROTR compares to other festivals GNR have played

his influences growing up

who he listens to nowadays

the pressure of being in GNR

on how he's helping to mold the nu generation

how he's lived through the tape, CD, and mp3 generations

one thing about the current lineup that gets overlooked

how the rumor about the band calling it quits came to be

when GNR makes new music, will it be on a record label or DIY

his thoughts on axl being called the greatest singer

what happens after the residency

his side project

wikipedia

GNR lineup changes in the limelight

being inducted into the RNRHOF without being there

new music in the future "Ah, insinuation. I really hope that it happens this year and there’s still a lot of time left, so let’s just shoot for that."

I can tell you without reading a single word that there's nothing I/any of us didn't already know in there.

I didn't know his favoritel album.

Can't say I agree either. Bit overrated, track for track, that one. 'Let It Bleed' or 'Sticky Fingers' is a better bet, pound for pound.

It looks like Dizzy has made it past the excuses for not attending the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction, and just outright admitted it was because he knew he'd be canned in a heart beat if he went. As much as he acts like it was not important to him, I am willing to bet money it at least irked him a little bit. He has been in the band for nineteen years, put up with the old members hating him, put up with the constant lineup changes, and put up with never knowing what Axl would do from one do to the next. I'm sure he was probably stoked to be in the Hall of Fame (as well he should be) and probably would have gone to the induction if he could have.
