They were very good, don't get me wrong, but once Brazil started attacking in waves it was obvious they wouldn't be able to keep them at bay. I also didn't disagree with the referee's major decisions. That was too easy, there was only gonna be one call all day and all night.That being said, Brazil battered Croatia's goal until they went ahead. I thought (until that absurd pen which killed-off the game) Brazil were sloppy, while many of their key players, Fred and Hulk for instance, were absent for long periods. Even Neymar was not that impressive, being dispossed and giving the ball away in the final third. Croatia were workmanlike and had an excellent gameplan of hitting Brazil on the break. With a better finisher, they could have been 3-0. Of course Brazil dominated possession but that was always going to happen - Croatia set their team up for that.Croatia should have had the 3 points.Regarding the ref, memories of South Korea v Spain/Italy (2002).
