  1. The Papa Was A Rolling Stone video is so fucking cool. I live right off Woodward so it’s awesome to see the street sign. Met Slash off Woodward too back in the day
  2. Still funny to me. You know if it was up to Slash we’d be waiting for the third new GNR album since 2016
  3. Anyways, output is still way too slow but we have objectively gotten way more content since the reunion 1. 4 “new” studio tracks 2. Sound City Sessions and some other odds and ends from the 80s including the kick- ass Shadow of Your Love recording 3. Two complete shows as live albums (Ritz 91 and Vegas 92, with a Bluray of the Ritz) Thats all some really good shit. I’d argue that Sound City and the live shows are essential for diehards From 2009-2014 they just put out the Appetite for Democracy show on video and CD
  4. I’m happy to get Chinese leftovers, but there’s so just more care put into something like this.
  5. Hell yeah. Detroit! For sure. He needs to write and record an originals album with this band and Mike Clink. The drummer especially sounds so good
  6. I still think Demi did great when she pushed her voice but I agree on some of the verses. It doesn't detract from the song for me. It is a killer performance all- around and she killed it when she pushed it.
  7. It kind of isn't fair because these are all legendary classic songs, but this is so much more enjoyable to listen to than LTD and 4. I am not hating on those albums (they just don't overall do a ton for me aside from a few tracks on each), and I got a lot of enjoyment and good memories out of SMKC from 2010-2015, but it just got so stale. Even though it is a covers record, it is so refreshing. The backing band is awesome, the guest choices are killer, and even the song choices have a lot of variety. It is not all just straight blues or songs that sound alike. There are different kind of blues, soul, and classic rock. Even his guitar playing is a lot more interesting than on LTD, 4, and on the "new" GNR songs. I love that Living for the City solo, in particular. He even mixes up his tones a bit from song- to- song and they all sound good. This feels like a real passion project. I love it. Slash killed it.
  8. Im pissed off about it. Now there's a Saturday NY show that works way better for me and if we waited my group could have also got cheaper Stubhub tickets and all sat together. Luckily, there is a ton of time to figure it out lol
