Definitely the setlists in 2023. My first time hearing PTU, Bad Obsession, DOTF, Anything Goes, Locomotive, Prostitute, and, most important of all, TWAT live. Perhaps was pretty good live as well, at least at the Seattle show I went to, though I prefer the Village leak to the released version. Music video was nice. The General doesn't really do much for me and I prefer (what I can hear) of the Bucket/Finck version of Monsters from the Vienna afterparty phone recording, would love to hear the full version of that one day. Definitely the most exciting year for GNR since 2019 and the Village leaks, which itself was the most exciting year since 2016.

Saw this in 4DX when I was in Atlanta for work a couple of weeks ago. Was damn near thrown out my seat a few times, most violent 4DX experience I've had (though the best was still Top Gun: Maverick where you really felt like you were in the jets) I much preferred this to Shin Gojira.

I used to listen to the Prostitute - Synths & Orchestra only video on YouTube a lot, really beautiful work. Craziest is hearing all the Buckethead guitar parts isolated on Scraped, they're totally buried and almost wholly indiscernible in the final mix.

I'm still waiting for a 4K UHD of the Ritz 91 show, kills me to know there's a 4K UHD master out there but no release.

The absolute essentials for 80+% of the audience are WTTJ, SCOM, NR, KOHD, and PC. The rest can be subbed in and out as alternates. Iron Maiden do 15-16 songs on their tours. Between a shorter set and keeping at least two nights rest between shows, Axl's voice should be in OK shape for a few more years. With just one night rest between Seattle and Vancouver this year, I could tell Axl was struggling a lot more at the latter show, and then there was the two nights back-to-back in LA later which really took its toll on him. Could bump it up to 17 or 18 songs depending on how Axl feels on the night.

Baffles me that they included a bunch of songs from that on the UYI Deluxe CDs... but not the epic performance of Civil War :/

The drums on the Hard Skool demo are so fucking good it's baffling that they were completely rearranged and dumbed down. My ideal version would have the demo drums with the guitar and bass parts from the 2021 mix, and not be brickwalled.

Could also be that Fernando didn't make any moves while Kat was still in a relationship with Fortus (which I think was that 2010-2014 period?).

I could fart into a microphone and lay it over the existing demo and the effect would be much the same.

No one has anything. As soon as more than one person found out about the Village CDs, they leaked. The General and Monsters will be the last official release for a while. Until then we’ll have a barrage of troll and fake insider bullshit.
