  1. Watched Asteroid City yesterday. Great movie. Not as good as The Grand Hotel Budapest, but still amazing. Love Wes Anderson and everything he does.
  2. That gladiator reference is a bit over the top. The artwork is pretty cool though.
  3. It's one my favourites off Slash's eponymous, along with By The Sword and We're All Gonna Die. But By The Sword makes first place for me.
  4. I came into this thinking "damn that's random.. izzy and slash in a ghost song"
  5. Thing is - they are all well aware of Axl's vocal problems, and he's probably too embarrassed to release live material in his current state. I don't really blame him, I would be too. It would be a huge target for all kinds of criticism.
  6. If Axl won't or can't record anything, they could hand the verses over to Duff and leave Axl on the chorus. That would be nice for Axl live-wise. The guitars would most certainly be re-recorded by Slash, though.
  7. I can imagine Duff singing it. And LOL, I hated the Axl backing vocals As for the new songs, if they ever released an EP or something, which I still find it hard to believe, I would guess: - Hard Skool - Absurd - Perhaps (Really think that chorus needs working. If Axl won't record something else, I'd drop all vocals except for "you're all alone now" and replace them with a Slash guitar lick) - Atlas Shrugged - State of Grace (Although the leaked version has dreadful vocals, expecially in the verses. They certainly need a good change. Chorus is fine though)
  8. What makes u think The General's in that list? And on a side note, was Going Down "sold back" to Tommy? Is it gone forever? I mean... depending on the credits and all, couldn't it be just given to Duff and re-recorded by the band?

    Ghost

I don't get why they released a pretty meh covers EP and left this out, when it would have been one of it's strongest tracks
  10. Just came back from Wolfmother. Great concert. Highly recommend. Man, Andrew Stockdale should have been Slash’s singer, not Myles 😭
  11. Electric Wizard - Witchcult Today
  12. If I KNEW they'd be playing TWAT here in Paris, I'd buy a ticket for the upcoming show. But I sure as hell won't pay 120 Euros to miss TWAT. If I go and they don't play it, I'll be pissed.
  13. These "short, fast and crazy" songs are my least favourite of their catalog, not counting My World and Absurd. To me, they feel really dated and not in a good way, I dunno. Love You're Crazy Lies versions, though. Love it.
  14. I'll probably watch it this Friday or Saturday. Keeping my expectations low. Crystal Skull sucked so much ass, it's hard to be hyped about this. Oh well, at least I'll be positively surprised with anything good that comes out of this
  15. Up until CD, maybe. Then Slither makes you realize it's not 1992 anymore and WTTJ makes you turn off the stream
  16. Yeah, nothing on 72 (except maybe for Inamorata) quite gets to the level of Atlas Rise, Moth and Halo on Fire, IMO. However, nothing is as bad the filler HW. Spit Out The Bone is, in fact, the only decent track of the whole second disc of that album.
  17. I prefer this to Hardwired, basically because it's a more consistent album all around. Yes, Hardwired has better standouts but it has so many horrible songs, it's horrible to listen to as an album. Death Magnetic is on another level, though. No comparisson. DM is far superior to Hardwired and 72.

    Ghost

I haven't returned to it at all since the week it came out. I only liked Phantom, though. And I'd rather listen to the original version.
  19. Don't really know who's the supporting act... Can't find the info in my ticket
  20. Wolfmother next week July 6th. They were one of my favorite bands back then. Excited!
  21. Just listened to it full for the first time. It might be better than Infect The Rat’s Nest. So good!
  22. The Jungle, I reckon. Maybe My World.
  23. I wish Chester Bennington had replaced Scott. Perhaps this could have saved his life, who knows? And the dude is an excellent and versatile singer.
  24. Contraband is far superior, IMO. Still, Libertad has some good tracks: Get Out The Door, SBQM, The Last Flight, Gravedancer, Messages. But it has some horrible tracks like She Mine, Just Sixteen, For A Brother and Spay.
  25. Ethically speaking, the UAE are a place I'd want to stay away from.
