I'm glad to see The Hurt Locker win so many awards. I'd like it to do the same with the Oscars but I fear the US might go down the wankfisting Avatar route.

Has anyone seen Crazy Heart yet? I plan on watching it tonight, along with a possible Edge of Darkness.

Watched it last night. Really enjoyed it, great movie!

I'm so glad to see someone else pretty much word for word state my thoughts on this movie. Everyone has been talkin crazy shit about this movie and I thought it was alot of fun. It seems as though people are expecting oscar winning quality out of horror movies revovling around a guy turning into a wolf.

I'm sure I would've liked Crazy Heart a lot better if that had happened...

Hurt Locker.

Makes up for the 50 shitty movies I've watched this year so far.

Brilliant film, well deserving of an oscar or two.

If Apollo says a movie sucks, it means it's great. I agree with SKW.

So if I say a movie is great - like Hurt Locker - then YOU must think it sucks.

You should live your life on your own, my friend. You shouldn't base movies/music/life on what other people like or do not like.

The Hurt Locker was brilliant, save for that bullshit sniper scene.

Just watched Legion. I always love the whole end of days scenario, but I believe this film should have gone straight to DVD. Bland acting, formulaic character development, and the ending was seen coming from a mile away.

Yeah, Legion sucked. If I had payed money to see it, I would have raged and demanded it all back.

Did you pirate it? My copy's last few minutes were in Russian - I couldn't have cared less.

Yeah, that's the same copy I had. I could care less as well, even though the lines that were in Russian were probably some of the most "important" lines in the whole movie. Fuck it, though. The thing was terrible.

i watched michael moores capitalism movie last night. i really liked it.

not going to get into it but one thing that wasnt really in the movie but is astounding to me; there are profits made off of hospitals and sick people. full hospitals is good business.

that is so wrong on so many levels. its hand and hand with the juvenile dentention center in the movie, and the prison system at large. making money off incarcerating people?

thats so ridiculouly wrong its borderline impressive.

Just saw Moon, Rockwell was brilliant in it, great acting job. I was suprise a sci fi indie movie could turn out that good, tough to do.

You really think so?

I was soooo excited to watch this movie, after the reviews I'd read. But I hated it. I thought it was quite silly. I'm not a huge Rockwell fan though, I think he is terribly overrated, so that could have aided my boredom.

Just watched Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid again (first time in 10 years) and one thing really stuck out to me. In terms of acting ability . . . wow. Paul Newman made Robert Redford look like a rank amatuer.
