SpUd_Jr
Life of Brian (1979)It's not blasphemous -- though the ending might deny an afterlife -- but it is the Python's at their satirical best. (9/10)
Stiff Competition
Has anyone seen Crazy Heart yet? I plan on watching it tonight, along with a possible Edge of Darkness.Watched it last night. Really enjoyed it, great movie!I'm so glad to see someone else pretty much word for word state my thoughts on this movie. Everyone has been talkin crazy shit about this movie and I thought it was alot of fun. It seems as though people are expecting oscar winning quality out of horror movies revovling around a guy turning into a wolf.

You shouldn't base movies/music/life on what other people like or do not like.
AbominableHoman
The Hurt Locker was brilliant, save for that bullshit sniper scene. Just watched Legion. I always love the whole end of days scenario, but I believe this film should have gone straight to DVD. Bland acting, formulaic character development, and the ending was seen coming from a mile away. I could care less as well, even though the lines that were in Russian were probably some of the most "important" lines in the whole movie. Fuck it, though. The thing was terrible. Jackie Moon
i watched michael moores capitalism movie last night. i really liked it. not going to get into it but one thing that wasnt really in the movie but is astounding to me; there are profits made off of hospitals and sick people. full hospitals is good business.that is so wrong on so many levels. its hand and hand with the juvenile dentention center in the movie, and the prison system at large. making money off incarcerating people? thats so ridiculouly wrong its borderline impressive. Angelica
Best movie ever! Okay, not really. But I thought so when I was ten and I'm going through an epically nostalgic phase with it. I just wish Sly was around to appreciate it. Edited February 24, 2010 by Angelica

I was suprise a sci fi indie movie could turn out that good, tough to do.You really think so?I was soooo excited to watch this movie, after the reviews I'd read. But I hated it. I thought it was quite silly. I'm not a huge Rockwell fan though, I think he is terribly overrated, so that could have aided my boredom.Just watched Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid again (first time in 10 years) and one thing really stuck out to me. In terms of acting ability . . . wow. Paul Newman made Robert Redford look like a rank amatuer. Edited February 24, 2010 by Apollo
