Do any of you ever watch any films in foreign languages?

I only ever watch Swedish and English speaking films. Well, I see like one film from Norway every now and then, but that's it.

I was thinking that I probably miss lots of good stuff this way. I remember some years ago I saw a film about Ghengis Khan called Mongol in whatever language. Mongolian I suppose. Anyway, it was pretty good. I have no idea how I found it, but I watched it anyway and just thought of it and was kind of thinking that there must be loads of other films in weird languages I've missed.

Do any of you have any recommendations? It must probably be big titles though, otherwise they wont have any subs I can understand.

Oh, and have you ever seen any Swedish films?

Has anyone seen Men in Black 3 yet? How does it compare to the other two?

I saw it tonight. Haven't seen the second since it came out but I'd rank it on par with the first. Cool storyline, good action and effects, and Josh Brolin was pretty damn good as the young K.

Watched 50 mins of a movie called Family Nest directed by a bloke by the name of Bela Tarr (thanks Ang'). It was the fuckin' bollocks and i'm sorry i had to turn it off at 50 mins, it was that fuckin engrossing, just absolutely shockingly good. I can't believe that this guy was trying to make out like he ain't seen no Cassavetes, he can't not have. I'm gonna make it my personal business to chew through this guys entire filmography, it's that fuckin brilliant. Eyes on a flick called Satantango next :) Once again, thank you Angelica, this ain't the first time you've done this, well played.

Have you seen the Criterion blu-ray release?

It's AMAZING!

It has the original version and the American "raping".

Nice blu-ray treatment!

Destroy All Monsters is on blu-ray too (from Media Blasters)...looks bloody great!

Men in Black 3 was kick ass. Good use of 3D finally. I can't listen to anymore sitar music!

I watch the pornography spinoff called Men Inside Blacks 3. :P

I was supposed to go see it today but plans got messed up. Hoping I can get around to seeing it soon.

It was fun, it wasn't very serious. Even the Fresh Prince managed not to be annoying.
