After the show was over Sinatra's My Way played over the speakers. Thought that was an intriguing choice. (even a little more given the todaysTwitter drama)

I was on DJ's side of the stage. A few people left during the wait....but only a few. The crowd where I was seemed to get more into the show as it went on.

On the way out I did hear "Casual fans" refer to the show as "epic" and "awesome". And the younger people in the crowd definitely were into DJ and the concert as a whole. I think the show did over deliever for fans that don't hang on every GNR move.

As far as the setlist it flowed well, as most GNR shows that I've seen by the time PC is over I'm ready to go. However, I think another song or two would have been perfect, and some of the crowd was yelling for another song. I am glad I got to hear Sorry and This I love live. Both were awesome and Sorry is definitely a enchanced experience live.

I thought Axl sounded and looked great (iv'e seen the HOB show, Hardrock Nye, Hammerstein, Hardrock Sept.) And the band sounded great.

DJ and Chris Pittman seemed to be having the most fun on stage.

Overall great experience, unique venue and surroundings.

you can note ron was really pissed off at the end of this clip... btw, imo axl didn't sound well at all

Why would Mr.Thal make a gesture like that on stage?knowing how sensitive AXL is.

Because he is not intimidated by Mr. ROSe .

So Bumblefoot was supposedly pissed during Jungle because he made a gesture asking what time it was, or something about time?

Okay...

Dont know if a similar review was posted, but here ya go.

My dad and I got there at the end of rev theory. The place wasnt close to half full. We got up pretty close for AIC and kept our spots for GNR. AIC got off around 11:10 i think. The stage was ready at about 11:40 for GNR. Around midnight we could see Ron walking around the left side of the stage with his guitar. About ten minutes later he was poking his head out making hand signs that he was sorry and and he loved us. The crowd was getting restless and a ton of people started leaving around 12:30. We actually had a crazy group of about 8 people that we were going nuts for GNR at mindnight, but got tired of waiting and just left before the show started. People were throwing water bottles and full cans of beer on the stage, one actually about hit Ron when he was waiting on the left side of the stage. They were booing and chanting bullshit during the whole wait, i thought a riot was going to start.

They finally came on a little before 1 i think. It was ridiculous how quiet it was during the opener. There was a steady stream of people leaving during the concert. Of course..it was late, people had already been drinking and riding their bikes all day.

As for Ron... I really like the guy. He was obviously pissed at Axl, or whoever delayed the start of the show. I think it was during the middle of sorry he just walked off stage and didnt return for about 5 songs. If you look at the setlist, that will prove he was not on stage, because those are all DJ based guitar songs (or he played all the solos). When he returned, he just stood their and played his parts with no emotion. I dont blame the guy for being pissed. Over half the people that were there at the start, left nearly halfway through the show. He avoided Axl at all costs when on stage and would occasionally point at his watch and shrug his shoulders in disgust.

When Sweet Child came on, the crowd that was left livened up a bit. Then after that was over, a ton more people left. I was about 30 feet from the stage and then after sweet child i stepped on the beer vendors cooler to see how many people were left. Barely no one. It looked like a county fair concert that was staring Winger or something. It was pretty pathetic.

Now I am not trying to bash the band here, this is an honest personal review from what I saw. The band was awesome, and Axl sang like crazy. The only technical issues I heard was Frank's drumming was very mediocre. The bass at the venue was very loud and you could here when Frank messed up very clearly.

I know a lot of people that live in the Sturgis area and they said they heard RUMORS, that GNR was putting up a fuss about playing at Rock N Rev instead of the Blue (or Buffalo) Chip Casino Campground across the street. During GNR, Scorpions were playing at the Blue Chip, or buffalo chip, whatever its called. So take that how you want it.

IMO Axl needs to get off his high horse and start catering to his fans. I know he lost a lot of fans that night, one being my Dad. My dad was an old gnr fan from the late 80's, and he said he couldnt believe how great the band was, but cannot believe that Axl acts like a retarded rockstar with an ego that will get his ass kicked. But, hey we know thats how he is. I lost a lot of respect for the guy Friday night and won't waste my time seeing HIM again unless theres a reunion.

But...whoever has the chance to see how great Ron, DJ, Dizzy, and Tommy are, go for it....those guys rocked!

So Bumblefoot was supposedly pissed during Jungle because he made a gesture asking what time it was, or something about time?

Okay...

Mr.Thal is an employee of AXL Rose and he should act accordingly actions, gestures, and apologies etc, should be carried out by said employer, hence the GN'R brand.I am really frustrated and disappointed with Mr.Thal, below the belt cheap shot artist that he is. <_< The lack of professionalism displayed in this video is disturbing

Pull your head outta Axl's ass for a minute. Somebody in that band needs to have some balls & let Axl know that this shit isn't gonna fly for much longer.

Bullshit! Ron would walk through fire for his fans, something you can't say about some other member(s) of the band.

Axl was late, Axl made everyone wait, Axl didnt go on when we wanted, Axl wont act the way we think he should. I have a 2 year old that does not cry as much as people on here.

Exactly. Axl won't ever do what people want him to do. They just have to buy hankies to blow their noses before and after any concert, because this won't happen ever

WTF, if anything bad happens eveyone blames Axl. Just shut the goddamn up. I am so sick of those kind of people

Ok ! I have just wacted WTJ video. My opinion is that BBF was angry at the sound guy because his was not able to listeting his guitar at that point (near the solo). But I agree it´s not his usual atittude. In the latest interview he was not exactaly happy when asked about Axl. Probably something is happening. Not a suprise in GN´R/Axl history. We all know or shold know that in paralel with the genious and one of the greatest rock frontman of all times, lives de human beeing with the personal mood diffuculties and it always affected the band (old or new GN´R). I am wrong ?
