TeeJay410
Even though A7X is the obvious choice, I think they'd do well. They're a popular band who wear their Guns influences on their sleeves. Frankly whether you like them or not, no band since Guns has had their sort of edge aside from A7X, especially during and around the time of City of Evil. I think A7X could take on some of the rougher Guns songs, though I think their singer would sound good on don't cry.
Eu4ic
It's a disgrace to imagine any new bands play Gnr. They just cant do them justice. I'd prefer to hear Ice Cube, Jay Z and Eminem than Wolfmother, Myles, or Ax7. The idea of Baz doing it sucks too.

The Archer
I was thinking it would be cool to think about what bands could play tribute to GNR at the Rock In Roll Hall of Fame. I think Metallica could be a cool band to do a cover of GNR in a Metallica style.Other bands that could be coolCorrosion of Conformity Rob ZombieMegadethAC DCAll right I let you guys speculate what bands would be good at covering GNR for a tribute.Huh?It should be A7X. WhazUp
Generally the bands doing the induction aren't as big as the inductee (with exceptions being the really, really big name bands) so I think A7X would be a good choice

recklessroad
What would be nice and much better than nothing is some kind of supper group made up of a few different people like Elton John and a few others playing GNR songs with different members of the old GNR. So everyone would jam all together at once or a few at a time. This way it wouldn't have to be a (real reunion), just a cool jam with the old band and some really cool notables. This would be a good compromise and a lot better than nothing at all.
