Desperado
Yeah and it sounded pretty shitty every other time they played it live, too. Before you had Robin so it wasn't too bad but now both pieces are gone instead of one. No one can ape Robin's style and no one can play as cleanly as Buckethead.I hope you do know that Ron playes 100 times cleaner then BH he's also a much better guitarist. Ron is able to copy everything BH did but BH would never be able to copy what Ron is doing.I love Buckethead but thats the truth

axl_on_drums
I gotta say, if a new song was ever going to be played, it was tonight!Half full arena, hardcore fans, band just playing whatever came to mind and we still didn't get a new song or OMG..Incredible show but it proved we can give up hoping for a new song
HB3
I heard this song live in Hamilton and I can assure you Ron did just fine with the solo. He was incredible as a matter of fact. I can't wait for a better quality video though. Axl sounds great and Ron's solo sounds pretty amazing.

I'm sure someone out there can paint-by-numbers the Mona Lisa, but that wouldn't mean they're a great artist.Nothing disrespectful to Bumblefoot at all here because he's a phenomenal player. Just making a point. Using copying as a justification of skill is stupid.

According to Brodie nobody else could play the TWAT solo, only Bucket. Damn and I thought Steve Vai, Govan or Petrucci would do just fine playing it. Shame on me.Yeah and it sounded pretty shitty every other time they played it live, too. Before you had Robin so it wasn't too bad but now both pieces are gone instead of one. We're talking about one being clean, skilled player, so playing a solo note for note exactly the way it was meant to be played *IS IN FACT* an argument against Brodie's retarded statement. You are talking about musicality I suppose and it has nothing to do with the subject. Edited May 18, 2012 by Bruno Poeys

HB3
Ron is my favorite guitarist of all time. The guy's playing is like none other. He's outstanding. Buckethead is probably my second or third favorite. His playing is magical. I have a lot of love for both of them so I don't like seeing people back either of them. But Ron is in the band right now and he's doing incredible as always. Even with his injury. That man deserves a lot of credit.
Axl Rose aka God
While I do love Madagascar, I'm so happy that they're doing TWAT. Maybe they'll switch it up, sometimes a little TWAT sometimes Maddy. Now I just want to hear Catcher!

Powerage5
FULL TWAT I don't think he sounds particularly good on it...not bad but not great. I'll hold full judgement off until there's a better recording though, that audio is rough to be fair.

Georgy Zhukov
They should play TWAT more often. It's only the best song on the album.
GNR123GNR456
I think Axl sounded very good on TWAT, especially the ending chorus, had alot of rasp in it.

The high notes sound good though.Lol at the guy singing along with the first solo! (I would probably do the same...)November Rain ...I should really go to sleep... Georgy Zhukov
Most people don't seem to realize that the guitar solos on Chinese Democracy were comped. That amazing outro to There Was a Time was probably comped. If Buckethead was still in the band he'd have to learn how to play it.
shotgunblues1978
Ron really crushed the solo on TWAT
