I don't think a guy on the verge of bailing would accompany Axl to Kimmel, show up at the street re-naming and still follow-through with a show he disagreed with if he were on the very precipice of actually leaving. No way. I DO think think BBF is most attuned to what the "die-hards" (i.e. us) want and is at times embarrassed by Axl's/GN'R's apparent inability to deliver what we're looking for (i.e. new music)- but no so much that he'd actually give up the gig. Pop songs meaning Dj and Axl are writing some pussy pop songs or they are rejecting some of his ideas which would probably be more shred than necessary.
