Kula2006 Posted November 2, 2012 Share Posted November 2, 2012 I wonder how long Axl will accept this - BBF is nothing more than an (well paid) employee in the company Guns'n Roses and should behave like this.Just imagine how long you will stay in your company if you talk shit about it every now and then (even if it's just for fun) publicaly.I really wonder why Axl accepts this -> Slash is a cancer because he talked shit about Axl/GnR in public and with BBF everything seems to be fine when he does the same shit?! Also, Axl feels Slash's motivation is "self promotion and business opportunities", which is understandably a bigger offense, to sell someone out for fortune and fame. I would be surprised if he stays in the band after Jakarta, but if he's bowing out, he's going to stick to the commitments and when it comes to the future of GNR, will prob. let them know he's done. If he's touring with a legend like Bootsy Collins, there's going to be a big draw for that. Axl talking to Slash is more likely than Buckethead coming back to GNR. I wonder what's keeping him in the band if he's so unhappy.i'm sure it's the hope that he'll one day get to overdub some rhythm guitar tracks on a compilation of 20 year old outtakes. I'm sure being with GNR compared to being Ron Thal, guitar slinger for hire made a difference as far as medical attention went. Not sure if they had a physical therapist on the road, or if that was part of Axl's usual crew. I'm sure Axl and Tommy hate life when they wake up in the morning from the wear and tear of the road. Who knows which guys have arthritis or back problems (common for drummers & guitarists). You don't think all that slamming into the floor Axl did to his knees hasn't bit him in his 50 year old ass? We have no idea if or why he moves slower because he's all banged up, wouldn't surprise me if he'll need a hip replacement like Eddie Van Halen. Axl has great musicians, but they're not young, but I think he'd rather deal with their bitching about "ravages of age" than some asshole wunderkid like Baz had throwing hissy fits and quitting in the middle of promoting and touring. I think GNR management have done what they could to work with Bumblefoot, and I'm sure they're getting tired of him venting publicly. I'm sure Axl's not out of the loop when it comes to bandmates in a pissy mood or hearing them backstage. Ron does his job, and I think that's what he sees it as now. I'm sure some of them see it as just that, but it's better than their friends are prob. doing. Should Ron bow out at this point? Sure, but do it on stage with fanfare.
