A lot of bands went naff in the 1980s. This is music for people who wear leg warmers, all beats and beeps and then fuckin' Jagger turns up. Where are all the sexy bass lines and sweeping brass instruments and slick vocal harmonies? Where is the soul? The Jacksons belong in the 1970s (although Triumph is 1980).
