It's s up to the girl to say yes.And not just with humans. You see it right across the animal kingdom. From primates, to birds to insects. The male shows off his feathers, or weird dance, or hunting skills, or his skill of acting like a knob in a motor vehicle while playing his music as loud as possible. Whoever is less attracted to the other person does the choosing and dictates the course the relationship will go on. Hotter people have more options. They give less of a shit. A hot guy/girl knows there are a hundred desperate people right around every corner dying to be with them. So they are basically calling the shots, and the less attractive people are just grateful to have the chance. It's much more about attitude and general demeanor for the guy, which means that a sexually unsuccessful man still has a shot if he gets his head in order while a sexually unsuccessful woman, although there aren't many because any girl can find a guy to sex her, best hit the gym.
