hayabusa401
Just noticed that Spotify (US) has uploaded a couple classic live GNR shows. Edited February 26, 2016 by hayabusa401
rocknroll41
Cool! Nice to see the UYI era getting some attention for a change. Interesting they chose to put out both the first and last gigs from that tour.
Philcore
Cool. I am not into Spotify and all this streaming stuff. Since Spotify uploaded these shows does it mean they are officially licensed by GNR/Axl? Or is this just some kind of a fan-remaster?
neon
Pretty sure it's not official. Both are the same sources we already have and really shouldn't be on spotify.

Just listen to a few tracks, poor quality, but it's nice to have this anyway.
Lies They Tell
This is not the first time, some random live shows have been uploaded on Spotify. They tend to get removed from there pretty quickly.

killuridols
Listening to them right now... It says "remastered" and it doesn't sound that bad, really. I too wonder how come this is allowed to be in the official Guns N' Roses account.
prettytiedup88
These things regularly pop up on Spotify until the labels take them down. They are just unofficial bootleg albums, like the ones you used to be able to get physical copies of back in the day. The quality sounds like a YouTube rip, it's ok. DizzyReed63
This is pretty awesome. Because I have all of this stuff on freaking cassette tape. Now I can listen again! haha.

I have several of those old bootlegs that I bought in college at a local CD store in Bloomington ( college was from 1989-1993 for me). I need to pull those things out and give them a listen. You are right, the sound quality on most is average at best. A couple are soundboard recordings, but they do no justice to the vibe and feel of the show as there is zero audience noise and just sounds odd. StrangerInThisTown
If it was not official, it wouldn't say "By Guns N Roses", but some other account dudes name who put it up. Also man this is freaking great, I've been listening to that GNR unplugged album on youtube and now that version with the piano solo of Knockin is finally on spotify.
