1 - I'm not going to argue Frank. Although I have more of a criticism about the appetitite material over everything else he plays by far. That should be Steven

2 - Exactly, so why kick Fortus to the curb? Bottom line is, there's no issue with Slash on lead really since both Ashba and Bumblefoot quit. They needed an elite lead, and who better than slash?! Its just a tougher situation than any of us could have imagined but, I have faith it'll work out.

I hope you make it to some shows! And I hope izzy is willing to compromise, just for now, and things can move forward with both him and Adler. We need them both there and in more significant roles. Tough trying to be fair and make everyone happy..

Well, I'm not saying they should kick Richard out of the band. Whether I agree or not, I respect Axl's loyalty to the guys who've been with him for years. I understand Axl not wanting to fire his guys but I understand Izzy not wanting to have a secondary role as well. Maybe one of them (well, Izzy) will change their mind, maybe Richard will decide to leave, or maybe nothing will happen as it was with Slash for decades. It's hard to get in the speculation territory though because it never ends. I mean, they could be giving Richard and Ferrer a farewell tour, one last big paycheck as a way to thank them for their services (while testing Steven at the same time), we don't really know because these guys aren't allowed to fn' speak. All we need is clarity and SOMEONE TO TELL US WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING OOONNNNNNN!!

Thanks, I will. They're apparently coming to South America in late october so I'll be watching them SOON if I don't die of an anxiety attack first.

That's the kind of quote I'd expect from Adriana Smith :P

Great show in Pittsburgh tonight, even though there were some sound issues mid set. Axl in top form, so was Slash.

Gotta say though, seats om the field is so weird. I can not understand why. No atmosphere, even though it was pretty comfortable. Thank god for Pit tickets for the Philly show... Even though the Pit in Pittsburgh barely moved :)

Why should he? Do you think Slash would accept to be at certain shows coming on stage to play TWO FUCKING SONGS? Steven is a sweetheart and he's happy about any thing they're willing to give him but there's no reason why Izzy should accept that.

Izzy ain't robbing anyone, he's doing what he think it's right and it's hard to argue against it. Although Izzy did quit back in the day, so did Slash and Duff, so if they can be back as full members being in the spotlight and getting a shitload of money, why should he be there as an addition to make hardcore fans happy for a few minutes?

What I loved the most about seeing Steven with them was knowing how much it means to him but other than that, as awesome as it is to see him there making the band sound the way it's suppose to sound it's a pretty bittersweet thing because then we have to deal with the fact that 99% of the time we get a guy who couldn't do justice to the songs to save his life on drums.

So, if Izzy is invited to rejoin the band as a full member under fair conditions, that's great. Otherwise, it'd be nice and exciting for a moment but then we'd have to accept that Izzy and Steven are available but we get Richard and the grooveless...

im gonna retort and say that frank is being found out now more so prior to the reunion as axl was the sole focus and him alone was really what people were out to see...

now that they are actually trying to do it properly, frank is clearly not the guy for the job

slash isn't enough to override the whole thing, you need proper drums, then axl, then slash, then duff, izzy - thats the order in my opinion for GNR to sound to the max, i'd even take sorum back full time without a blink and say hey, split it with steven but there is no way in hell axl would allow that solely based on the fact that the dynamic would change and his leadership would feel threatened

You do realise that people associated with the band DEFINITELY read this forum and now they're just going to keep going with The Seeker as an in joke because they probably think it's hilarious how pissed we all get with it. Lets make a rule. Never mention The Seeker again and it'll stop being funny for them!

I've actually considered this lol

Its only plausible explanation

Just got back to the hotel. My feet are killing me. Awesome show tonight. I was right in front of Duff and Richard. During one of the opening songs, Kat fell off the side of the stage and hit the barrier in front of me. It looked like she hurt herself and I didn't see her the rest of the show. I hope she's okay. I was lucky enough to catch a pick from Richard as he was walking off stage. As well as a setlist from one of the roadies. This was my last show for this tour. I'll post my camera pics tomorrow. Goodnight!

Wait, was it already a known thing that they have 'Slither' and 'Sorry' as alternatives...???

GnR didn't use set lists during the UYI tour. Why? Because they were the most dangerous band in the world.

Now they are a corporate act. I love seeing the band go out there and play but let's not pretend that the set list couldn't be more exciting.

What the hell are you talking about? The setlist was just as repetitive and predictable back in the nineties as it's now.  The only difference is that now you're following their every show on periscope, youtube or whatever, so you get bored and want change. But already back then they played mostly the same songs in the same order.

Got back about an hour ago.  No Adler, no Izzy, but NO COMPLAINTS!  I waited two decades to see Axl, Slash, and Duff together, and it finally happened!

I had a crappy phone, but took a few videos.  If anyone is interested, here's a couple of links:

I agree - they have always used setlists, or at least followed a set with a predictable enough order. The 'no setlists' thing is basically a bunch of lies Ashba invented and shouted about in a few interviews during the nugnr era.
