A person falling from a short distance into a moving lava flow likely wouldn't last very long, but the end would be agonising, their tissue would be destroyed on a massive scale, second by second. The parts of them that are unsubmerged would ignite as the air would literally be hot enough to cook them, the water in their body would evaporate... Grim stuff.

This video is crazy! And awesome and disturbing all at the same time.

I've been behaving myself for the Xmas holiday. I was on my best behavior while visiting my parents/ siblings/ etc for the past few days. Me & missus are home now, knocked boots a while ago, and now I'm getting fubar & listening to tunes. Likely to be posting in the country thread later. ??

LOL

Haha, you gotta be careful how you do that. No-one wants to come across as the self-important prick that thinks what they do is much more interesting than everyone else.

A tidy woman is indeed an attractive woman. I don't think that's exclusively a Scottish saying though. If you're on Facebook, there's a page called "Scottish Patter and Banter", never fails to raise a smile for me... Did you find it quite easy to understand? I wondered if some of the phonetic typing, things like "wid" for "Would" or "ad" for "I'd" or "Gonnae" for "Going to" might be a bit difficult?

The other one that's great is "The Glasgow Gospel". I love all the daft observational humour you find there.

Usually I get "Volcanologist? is that like Star Trek?"

Calling my cousin in Florida and then watching tv.  I lead a boring life. lol wish I could lead a "reckless life" lol I did once.:)

I know what you mean, having to live with my 86 year old mom since my dad died last year, getting a divorce and job hunting...but once I start working I plan on getting out more often. Gotta get back out in the world...my inner rocker chick is screaming to be set free..:P
