Collect all the Slaxl momets of the NITL tour (videos, pictures,...) and some talented human being ( @Asia? or anyone else?) should than turn them them into a nice new Slaxl video.

Suggestions of what to include:

- Axl tickling Slash

- Axl showing Slash his shirt

- Axl sitting down next to Slash and grinning like Christmas came early

- Axl and Slash laughing together during rehearsals

- Axl and Slash hugging / driving off together in the golf cart

- That moment of Axl leaning onto Slash and smiling that @Andy14 posted a gif of on the last page

- Various pictures (there are tons of them...)

Just off the top of my head. There's a lot more stuff I'm forgetting right now.

About Steven: Yes, I'm pretty sure that's what happened. Steven decided by himself to appear on a day he wasn't scheduled for and Axl (or maybe not just Axl, but also others) were taken by surprise because they didn't expect him until the next show.

The Bolded: I agree. It would take one hell of a strong woman who's not only able to deal with Axl's difficulties and issues, but who's also willing to put up with/or fight against the beggars and hangers-on. I can't blame any woman for not wanting to deal with this madness. Remember when we discussed Brian Wilson and his life and the parallels to Axl's life? Now I'm not saying TB is as terrible as the people around Brian Wilson, but Axl would kind of need to get lucky like Brian Wilson did and find a Melinda Ledbetter of his own.

OR maybe it'd be best if Axl got himself a big, brawny (and also smart and capable) boyfriend who'd take no shit from the likes of Fernando or Beta. You know, the strong, calm and patient type who's not intimidated by Axl's issues and who'd take the trash (meaning the freak show) right out where it belongs.

Certain people around Axl kind of fit these requirements in some ways, but they're all already taken or too interested in avocados for their own good

DJ Ashba said that his circle is pretty tight and almost impossible to get in.

Another person close to the band also told me the same.

I think this explains why he's alone and while I think TB have tried to hook him up with their Brazilian candidates, seems like it didn't work

The man is condemned to remain on his own and it worries me what's gonna be of him when he's 70 or 80 or 90 (if he makes it that old).

Yeah! I love the fact that Slash has a gf his age. I mean, he is Slash, he could have anyone,  but still he chooses to hang out with somene he has things in common and can connect with. I think that's pretty mature of him, and sweet! Axl seems to have more limitations emotionally speaking, but still he is showing some growth. Good for him too!

About the Steven issue, Axl flew to BA with the band (he had been spending time with them since Peru actually, i.e. about a week or two). True - he was in a different hotel in BA and probably that is the reason why he was not in the loop about Steven, but this is precisely what makes me think that he is not that aware of what's going on around him. As long as he keeps himself isolated from the rest of the world and nobody bothers to tell him stuff (God forbid the prince is disturbed and throws out a tantrum), he will be missing on lots of stuff.

YESSSSS. Exactly this! Finally I've found someone who can see this resemblance! It's like twins separated at birth! Seriously, they are so similar in so many levels - everybody either workships or hates them, and the people around them just humour them so as to avoid their tantrums, and what's worse, they seem to enjoy having this group of kissass suckers around .  I think they are even a similar age. Have they ever met? THAT would be an interesting encounter

TB could be an obstacle for Axl dating opportunities as long as he wants it that way. In the end, it is only up to him to decide to date someone more seriously, and I don't think TB or anyone could stop him if he sets up his mind.

About this, Steven did not go to the stadium by himself, he went with the rest of the band, so at least Sluff (and their management) knew. Regardless what the agreement/contract was, someone should have told Axl beforehand Steven was going to be there.

That was the good thing about the throne...Axl was forced to stay on stage and we had the possibility to watch him reacting to Slash and the bands' playing. Definitely worth it. 

And I will add one more video from the thread (a moment I hadn't noticed before). Axl is looking for Slash at the beginning of the show, when Slash was late to the stage

But yeah, I've been observing this for a long time now... They are the same age, I think.

What caught my attention was this thing with the "entourage". When Axl started going out with that freak show group: Sasha, Andrei, Ornella, the intelligent models, the stupid personal trainer and TB

When I learned he pays all of them trips and houses and all TB kids are named after him.... it reminded me of Maradona and his large entourage of enablers, kissass sicophants, drug dealers and "party" friends.

I don't think they have met because Diego is anti-yankee but they could have, now that Diego lives in Dubai, it would have been great...... or not!

Yeah, Maradona has children with a lot of different women, lol and he's been stranged from some of them for a while but it seems like he doesn't care about it that much.

He prefers the company of the entourage and that's why he has them living with him in Dubai, rather than being in Argentina with his children.

 

Yes, I know that if Axl wanted to be with someone he would be, regardless of TB. But maybe the pressure they put on him makes him back off from going serious. At this point, his girlfriends or relationships also need to pass the test of TB, or may I say the filter?

You know whenever I try to explain people here what I think Axl is like, I always say he's very "Maradoniano", and then people get it. They should definitely meet!

I don't know what type of pressure TB could put on Axl, but I'm totally convinced that whatever they do it is because Axl lets them. Their relationship looks very functional to me - all of them get something from it and are happy with it. If Axl wanted to, he could hang out with women who let's say are more gf material, but he doesn't seem willing to so far- probably that would imply taking risks, and he might not want to go in that direction. So TB and the "intelligent" models are the easiest, safest things to do - they are his comfort zone.

Axl is such a flawed hero - and that's what makes him so fascinating imo. He's amazingly talented but so humanly imperfect that you can't help but sympathise with him, even when you hate him at times.

And now they are coming to SA again in September! yay This keeps getting better and better!

I think Axl is afraid of losing TB, his security, his family, his people who help him handle his complicated life and that might lead him to accept some blackmailing or pressure or whatever lobby TB does to get they want from him.

Beta telling him that she would leave if he didn't make her a manager is just one example of the kind of manipulation you can play with a powerless person or weak spirit.

Im not very excited about the RIR thing because I'm not going to that shit and it is so bleh .... Are you going?

Trying to catch up but since my family is filled with red headed men and women and I'm a redhead, figured I'd clear up at least his coloring.

Red hair generally goes darker, like an Auburn or lighter like a blond as you get older. It depends on the tint of your hair really.

Most redheads don't tend to grey or grey as fast. Many actually get lighter until one day it's white. My grandmother's hair went auburn darker as she got older until it turned white in her 70s.

My aunt who had a lighter red hair actually got paler colored hair as she got older. She is almost 60 and it's about Axl's color.

His hair color looks very much natural to me. My grandma always told me I'd never go grey.

The rare occasions I've seen red heads go grey was when they were more blond/blonde than strawberry or brown than red naturally or when they're much older.

I have very red hair and as a kid it was much more what I'd call orange. In the summer I got a lot of nice natural blonde highlights. Our hair tends to change colors over the years.

My father was more of an Auburn as a child and he now has more like a brown hair. It's too brown to call it auburn but the red still lurks there lol. 

That's natural lightening of his hair. And to those who think he should die it, well as my hairdresser always says to me that's blasphemy. It will kill that color.

Funny story, I once tried to have my hair highlighted. I went with coppery tones similar to my own color. They looked great but the next day the highlights were gone. I was confused. I'd paid good money. I went back to the salon and the manager told me that the stylist would have had to bleach my hair of color first and that her personally she would have never done it. She said honey, people pay big time to try to get your color and on top of that it's so hard to dye. She didn't know why the stylist would even do it.

Of course my eyes were huge because I would have never done it either. However, I wasn't told this and was out money. They gave me my money back no problem. I went to 3 other well known salons and each one said they wouldn't touch my tone of red and that stylist should have known my color is hard to dye. 

I really wanted those highlights but wasn't gonna risk bleaching my hair. My cousin has strawberry blonde and gets hers done all the time. Hers, being lighter will hold the dye a bit better I'm told.

I love my hair color but wanted those highlights. 

On another note when I was younger I put that dye in that washes out in 5 washes. It was a maroon shade. It never washed out. I had to let it grow out. It was for a school spirit thing.

So I learned my lesson with trying to highlight my hair or add other shades of red even. I'd never want to change my color completely but I envy you ladies who can highlight your hair.

Want to add my hair has a natural curl to it as well.

Yeah, that's the problem, he's completely isolated to some extent.

And TB must be ridiculously dumb if they think throwing some 20 year old Brazilian model (who's got nothing in common with Axl, barely speaks English and probably finds him disgusting) is gonna work out or is gonna make Axl happy.

Last sentence: I'm worried about the same thing. Beta's not gonna live forever or will need care herself and Vanessa and Fernando will be busy with their own families. I really don't want him to become a lonely, miserable old geezer wandering around that house all alone on the hill.
