ShadowOfTheWave
Never liked them. Give me melody or give me death.

Which is why Anthrax will always be the best of the Big Four. Heavy as fuck, but still melodic.

-Jaro-
Yep melody was smth that I missed always about them but when I saw them during tour with Megadeth I was overwhelmed by energy. They destroyed Mustane and Megadeth that night... The end is near - there are few of great ones left....
DieselDaisy
Didn't their main chap die recently? The one with the German name? How are they continuing then?

Jeff Hanneman died and Dave Lombardo left at the same time. They brought back the drummer from the 90s and the guitarist from the Exodus to fill in. Pretty sure that's the main reason they're saying farewell. Tom Araya is speaking about retirement since then

Silent Jay
Kerry King should form a new metal band with the guys from Pantera. Edited January 23, 2018 by Silent Jay

I should have seen them a few years ago when they toured with Zombie, but he opened that night and I left before they came on because I was really sick. So yeah, haven't seen them or Anthrax. F*ck Fear
I'll pass in it. I saw them on Pantera's Extreme Steel Tour back in 2001, and once in 2007, I think. That's good enough for me.
username
I've always hated Slayer. Still do. Kerry King especially. Glad they're finally calling it quit's. After losing Hanneman and kicking out Lombardo this is the right call.
