Don't ruin my excitement man!

How would you suggest leaving back to the city centre after the show?

Haha sorry - to be fair it’s an INCREDIBLE setting, on the beach and will be around sunset… gorgeous. From what I recall we walked maybe 3-4 miles home as there were no taxis and the one train line was infrequent and packed. Suggest if you’re staying in Lisbon stay quite close to the venue! Hopefully a native Lisbonite can help you a bit more!

are general tickets to far from the stage?

I was at the golden circle in 2017, but this time I wasn't planning on going and the golden circle sold out (I couldn't get anyone to go with me for that for that price), I don't really want to go if get there and see them through a screen.

If you go early and try to get a spot near the rail, you'll still get a good view.

Did this venue back in 2017 and wouldn't go again - one entrance in and out for everyone and very minimal public transport.

I'm with you there. I would never, ever go back to this place again.

It's hard to think of a worse transport "strategy" designed for a venue. A real slap in the face to everyone at the gig.

It's a shame that football clubs in Portugal rarely allow shows at the stadiums anymore. they much more centrally located and are already well suited to accommodate large crowds.

So how to get back to the city? Being lucky and catch the train or bus back to the city, otherwise taxi or uber?

If you’re incredibly lucky you can get a train or manage to get a taxi - we genuinely walked for maybe 2.5 hours back to the city because there were no other options.

To get there its train the train St is a short walk from the venue or get a taxi.

As you leave there in 2016 when DC played  you had to 2 cross a bridge and there was like a bus St with an entire fleet of buses waiting if this is run the same way as I expect once you get over the bridge its easy enough there was loads of people to ask for which bus.

I don't think there is a train after the show because I remember the walk way leading to the train station was blocked off but this was 2016

Also those who are going I'd not want to be front stage as the concert ends from what I remember there was 1 way in 1 way out.

It absolutely pissed it down it was like I had just swam in the sea
