Exactly, it's like he's just going through the motions. He needs to put that effort into his own material...and you know, maybe release something new once in a while?

I Dont think he's mailing it in...The GNR songs are much harder to sing. he can sing the ACDC songs in one vocal range. but he uses more vocal range changes in GNR

besides, he sounds fine...some of you people are so goddamn obsessed with how he chooses to sing that it's fucking with your opinion. If you are looking for something to be wrong, then you sure as shit are going to find something wrong. This is not 92 when he could sing like he had strep throat or in 06 when he was at his most dynamic..jeez, the man is 54 years old. he is no longer 30 like he was in 92 or 44 like in 06..Age and Atrition causes changes and if he is gonna make it through an entire show, then he obviously has to sacrifice going crazy on the rasp for an entire song

acdcfans' member opinions so far:

"Angus playing FUCKING WLR with as a guest with GNR.

I simply don't get it."

And

"WHAT THE FUCK?"

I must be missing what was bad about that :shrugs:

He sounds good to me from what I have heard.

I mean, he's never been record-perfect, even in the 90s. Look at the Tokyo show from 1992, for example. I've never minded, though. Live is live, and Axl is a much better live artist than many. Also makes each show, and each song, have a different feel. It would get boring otherwise.

I don't get the people who bag his voice now, he was never perfect live back in the day. None off them were. At least Slash isn't monged out on drugs anymore so sounds much better live now
