Are those other charts really impressive now when it still barely even entered the "main" music chart at #98 on the opening week? I don't understand the relation, when you're really great on a small chart but really bad on the big one, so is it a success or a failure?
The songs on CD sound like shit due to the “layers”. There are some really good songs in there if they were allowed to breathe. That was a production choice made by someone who shouldn’t be in charge of any future albums’s production decisions. Take Slash’s new album for example. An accomplished producer with a personal history ended up creating a sound that I personally love across an entire album with all different types of singers.
From the leaks, Atlas and Perhaps were the two with vocals that I thought had the most promise. And Oklahoma is by far my favorite of the instrumentals.
I just remembered that last night I had an inception-style dream (where I went two levels down) and in my dream within a dream I heard loud thunder and I still don’t know if it was from the real world or if it was all in my head lol
