Powerage5
9/30 - Anthrax (Kitchner)Kitchener?...where?Don't know yet, and no word on an opener. But if you hang with us you'll probably be able to meet them since we know Joey so well Their headlining shows have been dirt cheap too, the Anthrax/Testament/Death Angel tickets for both legs were $25. I freelance as a musician and occasionally photographer. I play gigs every weekend, can make up to $400 for just a weekend's worth of playing. A lot of my schooling is paid through scholarships, so not too much of the money has to go back into school.

Powerage5
Powerage, I demand you let me into your band. I can be your Dizzy Reed. :xmassrudolph:Actually, my full-time band doesn't take cuts of the money we make, it all goes back into touring, recording, etc. I play in a jazz/funk/soul combo on weekends at locals bars in the town where I go to school on the side and that's where the money comes from. I just put the ticket up for sale.My exam time is April so I'm always worried about shows getting scheduled in that time. Luckily I've been safe so far. That's too bad about Slash but at least you still get one of the shows. I'll be adding KISS/Motley Crue to my list. The friends I'm going with aren't crazy like me and therefore not willing to shell out extra money for seats up close, so I think we're just doing the cheapest seats. Works for me though, I've seen KISS twice up close (and met the damn band) so at least I'll be there. Should be a good time!Plus, that gives me extra money for Maiden. username
Fuck fuck fuckedy fuck fuck fuck! Leonard Cohen is coming to Ghent (Belgium) and no dates in Holland. He's #1 on my "to-see" list. It's a 4-hour drive and tickets are about 110 euro.... I'm afraid that there's no other humane option than to just suck it up and go. It's not even really an option to not get tickets. The timing is just horribly poor financially, but I'll make it work. Just hoping I can score tickets now. They go on sale this Friday. And I just heard Tom Petty is coming to Amsterdam too! Are they trying to get me in debt? I'm going to try and get tickets for him too..
