stevo81
Probably not that well known but this past Friday I was at Camden Barfly in London to see the Yo-Yo's for Danny McCormack's 40th birthday.Great night and fantastic to see Dan back onstage for the first time in 7 years. As a huge Wildhearts fan I know exactly who you're talking about I'd no idea the Yo-Yo's were going again, or even that he was still playing these days. Sounds like an awesome night. Got my ticket for Download booked - will be 3rd time i saw Ginger :)

Powerage5
5/22 Megadeth/Rob ZombieAhhh. I would kill to see Rob Zombie! Love that guy As much as I think Zombie is good, I am more excited for Megadeth. How is Megadeth's live show? Does Dave put on a good show? What about Rob? Tickets are not on sale until Friday, so before I buy 'em I would like to know if they are worth seeing.Looks like some band called Volbeat is the opening act. Are they any good?I've seen Zombie 5 times and all have been great shows. He's a great showman. The last time I saw him was in July when him and Slayer were touring together, and luckily that night he came on first so I was able to leave before Slayer. I was very sick that night and didn't have any real interest in seeing Slayer anyway, and especially not putting up with their fans, so I lucked out.I've never seen Megadeth, though, so that'd be cool seeing them as well, even though I'd really be there for Rob.I'm hoping to catch the Scranton show, especially since tickets are fairly cheap.I might go to Scranton and tape...I'll still be at school so it's only an hour and a half away. I know I have a lot of rehearsals for ensembles around that time though...I'll have to wait until the date gets closer and see how my schedule is.For the record, I'm much more excited about seeing Rob Zombie again. I'm not a particularly huge fan of his music (I like it in small doses), but the dude always puts on a class show. Megadeth was extremely boring the one time I've seen them, I ended up leaving after 6 or 7 songs. They literally just stand there and play, no stage presence whatsoever. They sound great live, but I just can't get into it if they're not... Edited February 26, 2012 by Powerage5

I also haven't figured out who I'm going with, so we'll see. I'll let you know when I get it worked out.

I'm not even that big a Stones fan but they're one of those "must see" bands, and this tour could very well be the last for them. You never know, but better to see them now than never at all. I don't even care if my seats are on the ceiling.

I've heard of the Supersuckers but never listened to them. Saw Nashville Pussy open for the Reverend Horton Heat in '08, they were a lot of fun, and their singer did a rockabilly version of Ace Of Spades with the Reverend during his set B)
