YOUCOULDBEMINE.
No one wants it played except 4 retards on a message board, hardly a huge consensus.ThisSo you both went to GN'R shows and didn't see/hear all the OMG requests.Every show I've been to there was at least 1 banner asking for OMG.Anyway, OMG over LALD, Whole Lotta Rosie, YCBM and Paradise City.First: I went a GNR show in 2006. The fans booed Bumblefoot, and no banners there. It is natural to have some fanatics of the shows, but most of the GNR concert goers doesn't give a flying fuck about OMG. That's why Axl played the same setlist for over a decade (Don't get me wrong, i jizzed when he played Estranged and Civil War, but the setlist 70% the same as 2002 if you don't count the countless solos and covers)Second: If i want i made a banner to Axl, tell him to play Don't Damn Me. He plays? No, i don't think so.Third: "OMG over LALD, Whole Lotta Rosie, YCBM and Paradise City." great. Personally i don't like LALD. Paradise City, YCBM is obvious so doesn't need banners...and i love Whole Lotta Rosie. The only cover that's fit GNR (if you don't count KOHD)Ah I meant that more banners asking for OMG popped up once people found out that OMG was getting rehearsed.GN'R always had much of the same setlist for each of their tours.Only I'm not sure what you mean with ''Paradise City, YCBM is obvious so doesn't need banners''. What I meant to say was that I'd rather see them play OMG than YCBM and Paradise City, song that Axl can't sing for 75% of the time.
Kill Devil Hill
TWAT and Catcher are indeed among the best of CD, but I wanna hear the reworked version of Oh My God.I don't get how anyone who's given the song multiple listens can't at least see why people like it. Chewbacca
Cuz I like the song and they said they've reworked it, I'm curious as hell about this.
Georgy Zhukov
I want to hear TWAT, Catcher and OMG.There are so many good Post 1994 songs that get shoved aside in favor of AFD songs.
Monty
Awesome song!! I'd say the most aggressive sounding "new" GNR song (13 yrs old already?), and just love the hooks, and the chorus. Live however isnt as good, very demanding on Axl. Would enjoy a re-worked studio version though
SeBaZ
TWAT is the "Estranged" of Chinese Democracy. Great lyrics....great music.... Epic song. OMG is a good song, but.... nothing compares to TWAT

Flayer
I love Oh My God, but I acknowledge There Was A Time is great on a level above it hands down. TWAT would be something far more difficult for Axl to pull off live, so I see Oh My God as being something more "realistic" to ask for. Also, there's an element of mystery with Oh My God, I'm pretty sure I could guess how TWAT would sound if played live but Oh My God, between the demo version, the 2001 Rio version, and the one they've played at soundchecks last year sounds so different each time that there's an element of curiosity to why I want to hear it. 31illusions
TWAT and Catcher are not very good songs, in fact they're filler songs. OMG on the other hand,is a song they haven't played in a decade. It's different, edgier and I'd like to see if Axl can pull it off. WhazUp
I like the contrast of OMG to the rest of the songs. It would bring in a different flavor that IMO only Shackler's has touched on in the current setlist

jellyzero
Off subject but does anyone ever listen to "Scraped" and wonder how it isn't a staple in the setlist since the voice he uses in that song is most like what his live voice sounds like most of the time these days? Apollo
I would take Yesterdays, Catcher, TWAT, If the World, Prostitute, Coma, Breakdown, Rhiad, Down On The Farm, or another cover.......and of course, a new song.......over Oh My God every day of the week. Georgy Zhukov
TWAT is the best GN'R song since Estranged, maybe in the top ten greatest songs they've ever done.

Nosaj Thing
I also don't understand this. Sure OMG is a good song but there are plenty of better tracks that haven't been played in forever.
tat2d1
The couple of live recordings I've heard of OMG sounded like shit to me. I'd take Rhiad over OMG, personally.

iftheworld
I think Oh My God is CD2 music hence, why he hasn't played it. I'm praying Dublin turns out to be a starting point for GNR relevance to kick into gear.
