Broskirose
Another web exclusive bonus song. This might be the best performance of Survivalism I've seen. Robin and Sharlotte are rocking the fuck out. Edited April 4, 2014 by Broskirose

Crazyman
I think QOTSA (they suck, right?) and Grizzly Bear were the only other two bands I've seen on ASL and the crowd wasn't really into then, either. Maybe it has something to do with the venue or something?
Broskirose
Nine Inch Nails and Muse are headlining Lollapalooza Brasil today. There is a stream here but it is region locked - http://multishow.globo.com/lollapalooza2014/cobertura/ A Brazilian proxy should work around it. It is also being rebroadcasted here - http://tv-msn.com/multishow.html They go on stage at 7:55 PM Brazilian Time - 6:55 PM Eastern Time Edited April 5, 2014 by Broskirose
Black Sabbath
ASL airs tonight, right? Don't think it's airing in my area so I can't record it Actually, it's airing at midnight so that's why I couldn't find it. Just set it to record

Broskirose
Difference being Trent got over his angst period and continued to innovate and be relevant while most grunge bands dissipated to nothing with the exception of Pearl Jam. But please stay on topic. I'm placing a citizens warning point on both of you.Lol. Don't make me laugh too hard. I understand if you like NIN, but Trent isn't breaking any ground with his music anymore. Come on now. I didn't say he was breaking ground with his music. But he is still relevant and innovative. He's continued to release number 1 albums after the 90s, and released music in unique/acclaimed ways. He's won an Oscar an a Golden Globe for his soundtrack work. He's done critically acclaimed and technologically innovative concert tours, and was one of the main developers in a huge new music streaming service. He is breaking ground. C'mon man. Would Kurt Cobain or Layne Staley be winning Oscars/Golden Globe awards if they lived?!(Then again I think Nirvana is the most overrated band in history and don't hold AIC in a (very) high regard)PS - Pino's bass strap looks like it belongs on a bulletproof vest Edited April 6, 2014 by Crazyman

Crazyman
I listened to that new Michael Jackson song earlier and subsequently started listening to some of his older songs...that somehow led me to: http://www.gearslutz.com/board/4325168-post14.htmlApparently MJ was a huge fan of TDS. Kind of random, but wtf...I never thought I'd read that sentence in my life.
Broskirose
official vote: move to d&n Europe tour starts tomorrow. I can hear some slight industrial influences in his later music, doesn't surprise me that much.

highvoltage
Dug around for some of the threads on Trent's mentions of GN'R over the years. He's dropped Axl's name in a few interviews and used to occasionally post cryptic messages on his websites to screw with GN'R fans. I swear he must have read some of the things we were saying because he kept doing it.There are a lot of images with broken links, but maybe someone can dig them up and summarise the info for us? I know I didn't find them all.http://www.mygnrforum.com/index.php?/topic/17029-axls-relationship-with-trent-reznor/http://www.mygnrforum.com/index.php?/topic/30659-nins-reznor-disses-robin/http://www.mygnrforum.com/index.php?/topic/65506-2nd-reference-to-gnr-on-nin-site/http://www.mygnrforum.com/index.php?/topic/52026-trent-reznor-small-gnr-mention/http://www.mygnrforum.com/index.php?/topic/36570-trent-reznor-asks-gnr-question/http://www.mygnrforum.com/index.php?/topic/65389-another-nin-pic-with-axl-in-it/http://www.mygnrforum.com/index.php?/topic/88124-trent-reznor-nine-inch-nails-strikes-again/http://www.mygnrforum.com/index.php?/topic/112313-why-is-trent-fucking-with-gnr-and-its-fans/http://www.mygnrforum.com/index.php?/topic/111895-robin-is-100-out-of-gnr-according-to-trent-reznor-from-nine-inch-nails/http://www.mygnrforum.com/index.php?/topic/149752-trent-interview-in-mojo-magazine/http://www.mygnrforum.com/index.php?/topic/89718-trent-reznor-just-wont-shut-up-about-chinese-democracy/
highvoltage
I don't get why I have to witness NIN news on guns n roses discussion&news.Robin Finck is not such a big deal and a past member anyway. As you can see, there have been plenty of threads and discussion on NIN in this section in the past. It's not a big deal.Robin is one of the more popular former members post-Slash and many people are still interested in him. If you're not, ignore this thread and it shouldn't be a problem.
