Listening to Eric Clapton's The Breeze: An Appreciation Of JJ Cale right now. First time I'm hearing it and I already love it to bits. I'm at track 10 now and I haven't heard a single weak moment yet. Fantastic album! ^_^ Really laid back record. Digging it!

I never really got into Bowie past Let's Dance. Is he any good?

Wouldn't really know. I only really like Bowie up to Aladdin Sane. Everything up until then is just sheer excellence. Afterwards he loses it for me. Mainly the reason I've never seen him live is cause there's just too many songs I don't know. I've tried Diamond Dogs many times, but I only like a handful of songs from it. Never heard his Berlin trilogy. Didn't like his new album. His 90s stuff is too new age for me. Completely randomly, I bought the album Hours cause it had a cool hologram cover (a rare version of the album) and gave it a spin and really enjoyed it. But apparently thats his "worst" new album (Bowie fans seem to hate it), and I think its great so I don't know.

I will say I'm listening to Station To Station right now and while that album took me awhile to get into I really love it now. I'm just more a fan of his early hard rock stuff so the later stuff that isn't that (Fame, Golden Years) kind of loses me.

Bowie is kind of hit and miss for me. I'm not a huge fan of the Berlin trilogy except for Low. I absolutely Scary Monsters and Super Creeps.

I didn't like his new album, either. Heathen had a few good songs and I don't remember Reality.
