You're right about that... It should've been denied by now by Axl atleast... It's just hard to believe it though when we really have no credible evidence....

The only way I could see it not being true and Axl just letting the rumors go is if he's waiting until GnR has a new guitarist to replace Dj, then he could destroy the rumors with something like "Please welcome (insert new guitar player name here) to GnR!'

The amount of "new insiders" that have signed up lately is hilarious. It's like we're in 2004 all over again.

The funny thing about new insiders and old regulars (on all the GnR forums) that pretend they are friends with Axl is that they NEVER actually break any news. They never tell you anything that isn't already known.

They just take whatever the latest rumor is and make a vague statement about it. Or when new news comes out they say "oh I knew about that a month ago. But didn't went to break Axl's trust so I couldn't say anything.

The other day someone asked me what my favorite band of all time was. When I didn't reply "Guns N' Roses" they seemed shocked and said "Wow. I would've thought it was Guns N' Roses. Axl is on a strict diet and working out really hard, and he's broke. Slash is broke because his ex took all his money. Slash is working hard on adding his guitar parts to ChiDem2, while Axl is busy in the rehearsal studio with Duff, Izzy, and Steven/Matt every single night.

Slash and Axl sit down every night and spend hours writing music together. Izzy chimes in, too, while Duff is the glue which holds all the new songs together.

GNR will play the Superbowl halftime show, and then they'll play surprise shows on the Sunset Strip, followed by a headlining slot at Coachella. All of this has been booked already.

That about sums it up, right?

Look the media is out to manipulate all of us to get ratings in just about everything and anything they choose to report whether it's about entertainment or gas prices. I'm not saying the media is a secret let's destroy Axl Rose society. I do think somebody in power planted some initial rumors to get the ball rolling that would be picked up by people with no power like that idiot who runs alternativenation who likes to make himself feel powerful by posting BS . OK, so the general consensus here on the forum is as follows:

Axl is on a strict diet and working out really hard, and he's broke. Slash is broke because his ex took all his money. Slash is working hard on adding his guitar parts to ChiDem2, while Axl is busy in the rehearsal studio with Duff, Izzy, and Steven/Matt every single night.

Slash and Axl sit down every night and spend hours writing music together. Izzy chimes in, too, while Duff is the glue which holds all the new songs together.

GNR will play the Superbowl halftime show, and then they'll play surprise shows on the Sunset Strip, followed by a headlining slot at Coachella. All of this has been booked already.

That about sums it up, right?

You forgot to add that free concert they'll be playing in Copacabana for 1,5 million people. But other than that, it seems you got it all right.

Honestly I think it is his delusional hope that if something does happen that he would be included. I would think there is a much greater chance of him not being included than any other rumor or speculation.

Interesting that Reading have an announcement at 8am on Friday. For as long as I can remember announcements have always been early week (Monday/Tuesday) and almost always been at either 1pm or 7pm to tie in with Radio 1. An 8am Friday announcement suggests to me it's something special or tie in with announcements elsewhere.

As for Glastonbury, that's usually announced April time to tie in with tickets going back on sale.

I highly doubt they're doing Glastonbury, but if they are that'd be great. Already got a ticket.

Apparently 25 GNR reunion dates are confirmed and will be announced as early as this Friday. I'll tell you Saturday if I think it's true.
