Hollywood Gunner
i think the moral of this story is that the gnr jet belongs to axl and he likes to ride by himself

Popular Post thunderram
I've met/talked with Slash numerous times over the past 20 years, mostly while on tour with Blues Ball, Snakepit and SMKC. I've never witnessed anything like this. He's always been accommodating, polite and very down to earth. At one show @ Slim's in SF, he walked right out the venue's front door prior to the show while there was a huge line to get in. The fans went crazy and he said hi to everyone. Who does that?? On at least 3-4 different occasions, he's stepped off his tour bus after a show to a large crowd in order to sign, take pics and talk with fans. And I remember one instance when I asked him a question about an upcoming album as he was literally boarding his bus to leave and he did a 180 to step off the bus and answer my question. In short, if this really went down, it's more of a rare occurrence IMO. In fact, I'd wager that the guy was being an asshat and deserved the treatment he received. I obviously have no idea what the truth is, but that would be my educated guess based upon about a dozen interactions I've had over the past 20 years. Bono
It's the way people go about it and make a scene and then those who continue to demand after they've been usually politely told no the first time who ruin it for everyone. I met Chris Jericho at AXL/DC in NYC. he was walking by with Paul Heyman so I didn't really wanna bother him and inconvenience him but at the same time I thought I should just ask. All i did was casually walk up beside him and asked quietly as we continued to walk "Hey Chris do you mind taking a picture if I'm quick and quiet?" He stopped immediately and said "sure buddy, just be quick". He stopped we took the picture and I said "Thanks so much Chris" and he replied "No problem buddy, love your shirt"(I had an AXL/DC shirt on) and he went about his business. Heyman even looked at me and gave a nod of approval. You could tell they had no issue stopping for a second and appreciated the subtlety of how I went about it. Like just look at that footage of Axl the other night finally losing his cool with the crowd asking for autographs. Axl seemed more than willing to sign for people in the beginning but they acted like fools. yelling his name over and over again and begging him to sign shit. People like that are fucking losers. Chill the fuck out, be respectful and calm and 99/100 time the celebrity would probably take as much time as needed to please their fans as long as they weren't in a hurry.
purplestargirl
Gotta love people throwing a temper tantrum because they didn't get what they want, in this case a creepy stalker throwing a hissy fit because he harassed Slash and Slash basically told him to fuck off. Popular Post DieselDaisy
You do not have to speculate on how the fan was acting to provoke Slash's reaction. The proof is in his photographs which are unbelievably intrusive and a symptom of our ''selfie'' obsessed gratuitous celebrity culture. I hasten to bet that if the person was not snapping intrusive photos of Slash when he walked through the airport, instead politely requesting a photo with him, Slash would have obliged.

Juventino
The airport is not really the place. People are travelling and I'd imagine not in the mood to be hassled.
seely
It seems to be a common thing that he doesn't do many photographs. I met Slash after the show at Nottingham Arena in 2013. There was a queue of probably around fifty of us. We were explicitly told one signature each, and no photographs.
