I’m making no political statement on gun policy in observing that. I’m very happy that for a few weeks the city was associated with nascar, and I don’t give a shit about nascar. (but I watched it because they were racing on the streets I drive and saw them setting up. Very surreal to see their burn-out marks on the streets when they reopened) A lot of the race footage showed the nation what’s beautiful about the city. That’s cool. (So were the kids who went to see Elvis and those dangerous hip moves). now it’s like, “uncle Axl is in town”. Glad to see people younger than me discovering GNR!
