If GNR were a semi 'normal' band, they would bring on stage tonight for guest spots Adler/Gilby/Sorum/Izzy and a) make those songs justice b) treat their fans (the ones who actually DO care for the sake of band, aka hardcores), of course, none of that will happen and though their home show, no candy treat even on the setlist (ie Breakdown, Bad Apples, Locomotive, Dead Horse, Garden of Eden, Garden, Back off, Get in the ring...).

Not that Locomotive with Izzy/Gilby would be a nice surprise and a realistic possibility or anything with 3 guitars...

This whole leg has been a great setlist and they play 3 hours. If I get TWAT or Loco I’m thrilled, tonight. If I get both, even better

we got Pretty Tied Up, Bad Obsession, Reckless Life, Anything Goes, Locomotive, Down On The Farm, Street of Dreams, songs that if we were told in 2016 were gonna happen down the line, the entire forum would call bullshit on the majority of those titles lol.
We have to remember that not everyone is a diehard GNR fan, hell there are diehard GNR fans out there that never use a forum or any type of social media even that will go to these shows and be blown away by the setlist like it is the first time. most songs are a surprise for the majority of people each show.
Sure I'd love Breakdown, Perfect Crime, Don't Damn Me, Get In The Ring as much as anybody else here would, but I'd say GNR has knocked it out of the park this year in terms of setlist picks.

Totally agree.  I hadn't been to a show since early 2017 and when I went to San Diego last month, a full THIRD of the setlist was live debuts for me.  As long as you don't go to every show, every tour, there's some great surprises to be had.

They did skip SOYL at my show, but...oh well...still got to hear a shitload of "new" stuff.
