Focus shift in GnR merch

Which is pretty much the majority of the GNR target audience...

For music yes, for fashion not as much. You see GnR shirts pop up in a lot of stores you or me probably wouldn't shop at.  But there are a lot of people out there wearing GNR shirts because they like the logo, or the name or the style or it's a cool fit.

Yeah, I see your point and agree - kids have always worn t-shirts of bands they've probably never even listened to. But I'm not sure those same kids would go to the GNR website. They're more likely to pick it up in a commercial chain store.

I would think the same. But who knows. Online shopping is dominating the stores now.

I saw Bad Omens and Spiritbox last year (two of the hottest young bands in the rock world) and both their merch booths had a lot of similar looking items. Tie dye hoodies, shirts, joggers etc.

I thought we all agreed that short shorts, mustaches and mullets were hideous on men. But then the kids decided otherwise, and combined them all to the point of literally looking like clowns.

Fashion makes no sense.

I quit.

Has anyone seen people at shows with this stuff on? I'd be surprised.

Not at a show, but someone was wearing one at the Hard Rock in Piccadilly.  They look even worse in real life.  I couldn’t take my eyes off it they are that bad.

I uhhh... idk I mean... i don't really notice anything wrong with it lol.  Isn't tie dye kinda regarded as one of those things that, like camouflage, will never really be out of style?  Like it's just kind of a basic American staple sorta look?   To me it just looks like really comfy clothes and it's tie dye which is kinda fun and most importantly, GN'R logos but then again, what do I know anyway :lol:

Not where I live or hang around it isn't lol

Haha- I mean tie dyed hoodies and jogging bottoms....nope!

I do see a LOT of tie dye shirts around though and if you have a look on the internet it is regarded as very much 'on trend'.

Not that i'm defending this shit they're making though, don't get me wrong!
