dontdamnmeuyi2015
Wait for Dark by Kay Hooper I usually read before bed. I also have trouble sleeping even with a sleeping pill. Reading helps me relax.

downzy
About a third of the way through Glass House by Brian Alexander: So far a pretty good read. Similar to LeDuff's Detroit: An American Autopsy, but with less colourful language (and by, I suppose, a less colourful author). It's a shame that so much has been forgotten about the 1980s/1990s corporate raiders who essentially went around the country sucking up the lifeblood of small industrial towns. The Mitt Romneys of the world certainly do these towns any favours. Highly recommended to anyone interested in this topic and wants some explanation how everything has gone to shit. Here's a good summary review if you're interested but not enough to buy and read the book.
