Batman is superhero engineered by a person. It's defeatist to say that a superhero engineered by humanity cannot compete with an alien superhero. Clearly a Nolanesque Batman will struggle in traditional combat with Superman, however Snyder's Superman hasn't yet discovered the extent of his ability nor does he have the technological or intellectual prowess of the caped crusader. What you have to consider is that Man of Steel leaves Superman a relatively inexperienced superhero whereas Batman is an old hand at fighting sophisticated crime in Gotham City. Recasting Bale would be a mistake as it would tie new movie with Nolan universe which had amazing ending.
