Black Sabbath
Don't base your opinion off of the toy.Well this is about 85% of what we will see in the final film.Where do you get that kind of statistic.

Tater Totts
Looks good, glad they're holding back the atomic breath for the film though. Would be like showing the money shot in a porn trailer.

Would be like showing the money shot in a porn trailer.Couldn't have said it better.I like the idea of Godzilla being a Ronin. A noble warrior. He's still going to kill a lot of people. In Gamera 3 they had Gamera defeat Gyaos but at the cost of 20,000 people.
Iron MikeyJ
I'm also not big on his stumpy feet, but overall he looks good. I can't complain.
Georgy Zhukov
Toho approves of it. Then again they apparently apporoved of Zilla.
ZoSoRose
Flame me all you want but I like Zilla's design. That defiantly wasn't the central issue with that film.Although he is not Godzilla and that design is cool for a non Godzilla monster
Georgy Zhukov
I thought he was a cool design too. But when associated with the rest of the film, Zilla suffered.

Georgy Zhukov
I watched Rodan, it was creepy as hell. And the ending leaves you depressed.

Georgy Zhukov
So Aaron Taylor-Johson is married to a 50 year old? Kind of weird.
Tater Totts
Take note at the 1:19 mark! Already been confirmed that it isn't Rodan. IGN had yet another article about it today which they again confirmed the flying creature is a MUTO not Rodan with MUTOs being a military experimentUnless they're bullshitting everyone but all of the conjecture surrounding other Toho kaiju seems to hint that they don't have any other existing monsters. Georgy Zhukov
Every kaiju is a licenced trademark. So unless Toho keeps it a secret, the kaiju are just MUTO.We haven't really seen Godzilla fight an original kaiju since Godzilla 2000. Megagurus was in Rodan in larva form. Iron MikeyJ
I guess you could make the argument that Zilla in Final Wars was an original Kaiju
Georgy Zhukov
Monster X was just another form of King Ghidorah. Zilla was obviously the American Godzilla.

Monster X was confirmed by Toho to be a new monster and those are categorized by the "copyright coins" they have for each monster.
Georgy Zhukov
Toho can say whatever the hell they want, Monster X is just another form of King Ghidorah. One of many forms.

Georgy Zhukov
Well they are on crack. It would have been better if Monster X and Keizer Ghidorah were two different monsters. And if Monster X had a name, they were just being lazy.
