April 23rd, 2014 - Golden Gods - Los Angeles, CA - Axl receives "Ronnie James Dio Lifetime Achievement Award"

Recommended Posts

So instead of "Axl lifetime achievements award" we get a tribute show to stephanie seymour.

Sounds about right.

Dump some kitty litter on the crowd at the end instead of confetti and we will have completed Axl's dream.

Why can't Axl ever just sound good on proshot videos when it counts?

If he sounded like the LA Forum 2011 show right now that would kick so much ass. Whenever there is a proshot stream where not just GNR fans tune in Axl seems to always blow it. Then people search GNR live and the first recent videos that come up are those because they are proshot and got lots of views.

It's just... Sad. You can tell he's trying. Kudos to him and the band (well, most of the band). But yeah, it is what it is.

Yeah, I don't think anyone can fault him for his effort. He's obviously doing his best. I've appreciated how he's brought back some of his older dance moves that you don't see too often of late.
