Well, the setlist is a huge disappointment, but I for one am looking on the bright side and looking forward to Jarmo laying into/blocking anyone on HTGTH that dares mention that the setlist may be a little old and tired at this point.

I'm sorry, but what a fuckin joke...you would think that at some point, the band would pay attention to their fan base..I've been a fan since 86ish, but am tired of seeing the same show..play a new song, or fuck off...

This band is a lesson on how to turn an optimist into a pessimist...I'll follow for 1 or two more shows, but eventually, everyone grows out of it...

There is no nu GNR, just GNR. that's where the confusion lies. GNR are just doing what all other bands do. It's more like if members hadn't left what would have happened, this basically. Like Zepp don't have a massively varied set. The Stones in the end play the same songs each time I've seen them.

Zeppelin isn't a band anymore

And the Stones played 1-3 unique songs every show last year with 2 new songs in the set

But they basically play the same stuff the 3 times I've seen them, The Stones that is. But Zepp were a band that didn't play that much new songs.

Granted GNR are on the low end of playing new stuff. They vary it a little. For each tour they've normally added something. Definitely for hardcore fans who go to multiple shows there's maybe nothing new. For me I would be happy to see Catcher, even Sorry. The Seeker would be new for me.
