Satanisk_Slakt
When I was in Albania I ate donkey once. We ordered beef, but nobody liked the meat, it had a terrible texture. Like chewing on leather. So after one bite we left the restaurant and on the backside there lay a donkey head on the ground. lol Edited December 14, 2014 by Satanisk_Slakt
SoulMonster
And somewhere in Albania, Olag is now riding his wife to church. Edited December 14, 2014 by SoulMonster
spunko12345
I've had shark but the weirdest thing I ever had was prawns soaked in vodka. Had it in a resteraunt in Spain, prawns were those massive ones and they were raw. I hate leaving food so I just swallowed them without chewing cos I couldn't stand the texture. They were fucking minging. Edited December 14, 2014 by spunko12345

SoulMonster
The worst thing I've eaten is definitely a Norwegian fish speciality called "fiskegrateng". I tried it as a kid and haven't eaten it since.
Chewbacca
I don't recall eating anything weird, tbh.
Patience 4 Axl
Alligator. It tasted like chicken.I tried that this summer for the first time. It wasn't awful. Some of the weirdest meals I've had were definitely in Chinatown. Shark fin soup for example was not one of my favorites. And whoever mentioned squid, yumm. It's very traditional food for Italians. I just had some delicious calamari last night.
Amir
Had a deer ball the other week, mate got a pair from a butcher's. They were tiny. Seasoned them with za'atar and sautéed them in butter. Didn't really taste of much to be honest. What I love though is kaleh-pacheh, Isfahani/Iranian breakfast specialty. All the good stuff from the head and feet of a sheep, slow-cooked overnight, served in a kind of soup. Tongue, brain, even eyeballs, all really tasty (and very fatty). Here's me eating some in Isfahan in 2012:And then later that year an Iranian mate found a place in London that did it and a few of us went (the yellow/grey bit on the left is brain):Eyeball:Tongue (the best part, in Iran they often have tongue sandwiches):

Amir
Who considers squid an odd food? Did I miss something?!Yeah, even when I was a picky eater and not keen on seafood I didn't really think twice about eating calamari. Squid/octopus tentacles are a little weird, though, but not bad. RandallFlagg
In Bulgaria we didn't get anything else from the dirt cheap 'hamburger' vendor guy after the burgers we had tasted mighty weird and we were later told by a hotel worker not to buy shit from that particular guy as it was apparently horse meat lol. Didn't taste bad exactly just weird.
