His mother used to sell hagel out of the trunk of her car in the school yeard when we were about 10 years old. Kids flocked to buy them for 10 NOK per box. She was in Daisy's words pecuniary minded. username Posted September 8, 2015 Share Posted September 8, 2015 If you want a good whisky, try L&B pub (address: Korte Leidsedwarsstraat 82), just left off Leidseplein. Biggest whisky bar in the country. I also recommend the Rijksmuseum or the Van Gogh Museum if you're into art. And the touristy boat trip through Amsterdam is always fun. Other than that, enjoy.
