I don't think the "high rollers" give a crap about Guns or any band. They are "high rollers" for a reason- they spend their time in the casinos making money not sitting in concerts and shows. And besides- the die hards and even regular fans will outnumber them big time. Vegas is gonna be electric that weekend. Can't wait.

You guys are crazy. Prices are fine. If they were any cheaper you would have been shut out by scalpers anyways. Even at these prices scalpers had their way. This was a no win situation, the prices had to match the demand, and looks like they did fine.

These are prices for the first gig and at an arena. I don't feel like they crossed any lines on the price...maybe the $2500 vip but still people bought those so I guess it wasn't outrageous.

I guess I just don't see what some people were expecting price wise...I mean we all saw this coming right?

Am I the only one that feels all this shit so unreal?

Can't wait for April!

I am with you.. While I am disgusted and disappointed with Slash and Duff over the greed, I am still excited about the show.. Never thought this day would come.. can't wait..

There are so many questions marks.

I hope Izzy and Steven are there

I hope Pittman is not

If Frank is there, I hope he learns how to play the songs the right way.

What will the crowd be like? A bunch of rich lame high rollers? I hope not.. There was nothing like the energy of Gn'R crowds back in the day. I want that kind of electricity in the arena.

I'm fine with Pitman being there, especially if they're gonna do CD songs.

(this isn't aimed at you Russ, but since you mentioned it...)

They better NOT play CD songs. I will genuinely be furious if they do. I admit, I am getting slightly unreasonably apoplectic over this prospect, but I will be absolutely be irate if anything from CD is played. Why reunite if you're going to hold onto the garbage that was the last 20 years? While I do like a lot of this stuff, I don't want to hear Snakepit, VR, Loaded, CD, Izzy solo, Adler's Appetite, etc., because this a Guns N' Roses show. No more circus, no more charade, this is Guns N' fucking Roses.

I love CD (and all the other post GNR stuff) but I agree. I won't be furious, but I'd much rather have all classic GNR and new material

Wasn't it reported a while back that they were rehearsing CD songs? I mean, I would assume Axl would insist on it for one thing, but Frank/Richard/(Pitman?) would suggest they'll play CD songs. Axl views it as a legit GNR record and I doubt he'll abandon the songs, so, I'm expecting at least 1, maybe 2 CD songs.

I will join you in your rage if they open with CD, though

When the lights go out, the building may just explode.... I fully expect to lose my hearing

I'm thinking about heading out to Vegas for one of the shows. Let me know if anyone has an extra floor seat ticket (lettered Floor seats) or pit ticket. I've found floor seats for around $400 but was hoping to do a little better than that. Either night is ok.

Wasn't the floor close to $400 face value with fees? Or were they $300 with fees and GA was $400? Good luck finding GA for face value. The cheapest on stubhub is about a grand and some guy on here paid 1,600! Your best bet is to plan all of the trip and worry about tickets to the show last and wait til the demand dies down in a few weeks. If more shows are announced that'll bring down demand as well.

I paid $1,642 for mine, and one of my friends bought the last two they seen on stub hub for $2,000 each, they went up $400 shortly after I bought mine.

Also I don't know what it is but I am a magnet to the tallest guy in the damn place as every single Fn' time a guy that is 6ft 13 inches tall will stand in front of me.

Right. And what if you have a seat behind a 6 ft 13 guy?? Then you're royally fucked and can't even move somewhere else. Great. With general admisison you either have a shot at the front or you can roam around until you find a spot where you have a good view. Without having to pay 200 $ for it.

I'm 6 foot 4 and I am standing as close to the stage as I can possibly get, I don't care if I block anyones view, it's every man for himself... welcome to the jungle haha

Hey man just bring your GF and sit on her shoulders if anyone blocks your view j/k haha

That's great like I said different strokes for different folks. I am one that does not care for the GA much anymore so I make the decision to remove myself from that dilemma. I don't expect everybody to cater to my needs I find a solution for myself. Also it's not a problem in the seating if someone is 6' 13" in front of me in lower bowl seating as the seats are elevated behind one another I have a 7 1/4" advantage from the start. Call me old "young at heart but it's getting late....I'm only 48...." I learned a few years ago at a VH show how valuable ear plugs were. I was fine- my buddy was deaf for days. I still LOL at that.

I wouldn't mind if they play like one CD song, as long as Slash gets to play one from his solo record, and Adler if there gets to do one from his band too.

And I also agree with one of the other posters, please, no 35 minute rocket queen solo hahaha the Godfather 10 minute solo is perfect! haha

Why? We just had 20 years of seeing them play their solo songs. It's time for them to play GNR songs, and only GNR songs (and a couple of covers).

I'm a musician too so I will also be wearing the earplugs like that you see musicians wear on stage, we can still hear the music like normal, but it just decreases the decibels, don't think they are lame dude, only thing that would be lame would be having hearing loss and then not being able to enjoy music.

That's TRUE man, wow what the heck was I thinking???? hahaha Yeah I just meant they better play all of the AFD CD and most of the illusion stuff, well you know the setlist I posted in the other thread hahha play all of that and then if they wanna throw in solo stuff that's just icing on the cake

I hope everyone isn't in the audience taping the whole thing with their phones the whole time, that's soooooo silly, it's like let's be in the moment while we are there and enjoy that.... we don't need any crappy phone vids.... at least not the of the whole show. I might video November Rain with my phone but that's it other than a few photos.

Seriously, I remember literally counting down the days for months until Guns shows when I was a kid.. I don't know if I am as excited as a 15 year old but it's pretty damn cool.

I never take videos at shows.. Once in awhile I might take a pic or two.. I'm too busy rocking out and there will be better videos and pics online the next day anyway haha.

I hope they do play CD songs. I hope Slash puts his own stamp on them if they do though.

I think 2 will be good. I like Shacklers Revenge live and Better would be cool with me.

But I get it. Some people don't want to hear any of it, just the classics, that will be fine too. I just think it would be cool to see

You were so lucky to have seen the original! I lived in Columbus, GA at that time, so the closest place I could have seen them would have been Atlanta I guess, but I was 13 I when Appetite came out and no one would take me to see them.

I was 12 or 13 too when Appetite came out. I didn't see the actual Appetite Lineup.. My first show was actually the first show that Gilby played with them during the Illusions tour. Then when they toured with Metallica and again on St Patrick's Day during the Skin N' Bones tour.. That was the best show I have ever seen in my life and I have been to a shit ton of shows.

I think Axl is going to do songs that he think the majority of fans want to hear, I think Axl wants to make the fans happy, I think he's always been that way when it comes to song choices/set lists. Like in that Bridge School video he stops the band when they start to play a song and says no let's give them what they wanna hear and then I think he plays Sweet Child, and there was another show where I think he also did something similar. So I think we will be in good hands when we are in Axls hands when it comes to their set lists haha

I love all 5 members, but I live my life like Axl... some people when they get in a situation say, om my, what would Jesus do? I always say what would Axl do? haha

I was watching GNR youtube clips this morning and saw the one WTTJ at the awards where Sam Kinison presented the band on Arsenio.... man I miss all that culture and the atmosphere in America and just everything, that was such a great time.

When the lights go out, the building may just explode.... I fully expect to lose my hearing

I wouldn't mind if they play like one CD song, as long as Slash gets to play one from his solo record, and Adler if there gets to do one from his band too.

And I also agree with one of the other posters, please, no 35 minute rocket queen solo hahaha the Godfather 10 minute solo is perfect! haha

Just goes to show GN'R fans are rather diverse. I get accused of being a tree-hugging leftie. And I see in GN'R lyrics the same kind of sentiments I find myself in agreement with. Civil War, Madagascar... Don't think Axl is particularly right-wing, either. From the 2012 Kimmel interview: "Well, I'm in California, and it usually leans Democratic, and that's usually where I'm leaning anyway. I would lean Democrat. I would lean Obama."

To keep this on topic - I really wouldn't mind a CD song or two. Including Madagascar. Love that song.

I think any high rollers that aren't true GNR fans IF they actually attend better be on their best behavior or a real fan will kick their ass, literally. You know what I mean, how some wealthy elitists can be such snobs and think they get some kind of special privileges and can be a jerk to strangers... that type of person has the privilege to get their teeth kicked down their throat if they don't act right at the GNR concert... so I don't worry about them. One of the big reasons why I love GNR is because to me it represents a violent, macho, aggressive type of a person, everything that makes a man a real MAN. At least that's how I am and how most GNR fans I've grew up and been around are. We come from a time where men were men and women were women. None of this gender crap you see "progressives" talk about. In our day and time we wouldn't taken too kindly to that bruce jenner freak crap. And without being to controversial on here, the lyrics to One In A Million, I take all those words to heart, and that's how I feel about people etc, literally, I think a lot of Axl Rose fans will vote for Trump, I can't speak for all of us, but I can certainly speak for me and other GNR 80's rock & metal fans I grew up with. I actually get death threats from people here in Austin quite often, because just like Axl I am VERY outspoken, and almost everything I believe in is politically incorrect. I had to have the bomb squad come out to my place because of a package I got a couple years ago, the FBI & secret service have been to my place questioning me, the APD tracks me. But I don't care, I'm not a liberal hippie "progressive" type of person like 95% of Austin is. but my point is I'm stubborn and rebellious and extremely narcissistic, and I take great pride in all of these things. Axl Rose has been like a father figure/role model to me growing up as my Daddy was killed when I was 14, and from that time on Axl through means of MTV and CDs etc showed me how to be a man. I'm not kidding. I think there's lots of other people my age 41+ that grew up with GNR that are just as crazy and quick to become violent as I am. No, I think the high roller snobs will be best sticking to their casionos and country clubs.... because some of us, a lot of us in my opinion Guns N Roses fans are some CRAZY motherfuckers that really don't care if we live or die and we welcome a confrontation and violence, in the end it will just make us more of a man. Axl Rose is not a very nice guy, and neither am I or probably more than half of his fanbase my most general peoples perceptions in society, but hey man, nice boys don't play rock and roll. We GNR fans, are fuckin crazy haha!

Huh, well I never knew Axl said that... of course with his 250 million in net worth he lives in a different world than most of us will ever know of in ours.

We may be diverse, but that's ok, we all have common ground being GNR fans.

I sure do hope more than 10% of the audience is like us though in Vegas and not fake posers

Sadly I think the audience will only be 10-20% people like us. Sure WTTJ will get a huge reaction but something like DTJ or Perfect Crime could cause crickets. It's bound to happen when you have thousands of tickets on Stubhub and many of the best seats are held for big gamblers in Vegas.

That will be very sad.. The board members better get LOUD!!! At first I was thinking it was going to be electric in there but now I am scared. I mean I assume there will be more die hards traveling to these shows than usual. I am in section 14.. I have those 3 blocked off sections right next to me! Hopefully those aren't all the douche bags!

To romeorose:

Aye, I like that. We all have common ground. And we can all find something in the songs that chimes with us, and matters to us, and inspires us. True though. I definitely don't have millions of dollars in my bank account! But least I don't have to put up with the paparazzi, thank goodness.

It's a shame that they're doing those tickets for the high rollers. Would have been nice if those concerts were 100 percent Guns fans. But I guess that that is Vegas.

I think it would be absolutely awesome if they did Nightrain-member-only shows. One ticket per member, small club venues with Will Call tickets to really cut down on scalping.

Kind of like how Metallica did their anniversary shows.

You'd have tons of people joining. The only fair thing for that would be either only long time members or a random lottery with will call only, one ticket per member.
