Nasty Bronchitis Posted January 24, 2022 Share Posted January 24, 2022 Good observation. Taking in consideration most of songs were recorded along UYI, same recording process, same mixer. Difference is straight rock ( or punk ) tunes in the case of TSI. Izzy's guitars perhaps wouldn't be so much useful for the up to 5 minute songs. He got bored or just lay a subtle guitar part for those as far as i remember. That's why he is not so present in the mix in many or even not playing at all. Would it be cool? Sure. Would I listen to it? Of course. Ultimately, however, I've gotten used to the ridiculous drum sound and completely overblown guitar tone.
