i think the sound would be supersonic!

Do you mean like, the drums remixed to emulate the TSI sound, and Izzy's guitar to get as close to the AFD sound as possible?

Good observation.

Taking in consideration most of songs were recorded along UYI, same recording process, same mixer.

Difference is straight rock ( or punk ) tunes in the case of TSI.

Izzy's guitars perhaps wouldn't be so much useful for the up to 5  minute songs. He got bored or just lay a subtle guitar part for those as far as i remember.

That's why he is not so present in the mix in many or even not playing at all.

Matt has a great drum sound on those sessions. He explained they worked with lots of different snare sounds.

At this point, to use a notable example, it would be like re-releasing ...And Justice for All with audible bass lines. Would it be cool? Sure. Would I listen to it? Of course. Ultimately, however, I've gotten used to the ridiculous drum sound and completely overblown guitar tone. It has become part of the charm of those albums.

Izzy isn’t on TSI. Or are you talking about UYI?

No. Because it they remix it, they're just going to crush the dynamic range. It'll be a wall of sound like most every other "remaster".

Unless they get Steven Wilson to remix it, that dude is the kind of the remix

I saw that Tom Petty's Wildflowers re-release actually improved on the dynamic range over the original so now, there's at least a little hope lol

I think the reissue of In Utero a few years back did the same thing re: improving the dynamic range.
