People can hear bits of the orchestral intro that was played at shows in 2006-11 on the cellphone clip. I generally agree with you (see what I did there), but I am pretty sure they planned to play Hard School at the Hollywood Palladium in 2019. It was rehearsed by the band that day, I heard it myself. Unfortunately, this was one of the few shows not promoted by Live Nation so Axl felt ok to show up a couple of hours late and the show itself was shorter than normal. I agree but recent singles show that bits of others songs have made there way into completely different material, so...that orchestra bit could of originated as The General and then morphed to a song they were working on In 2009/10 which is when that clip was played....just to muddy the waters a little... I remember hearing it on some vids...when I saw them again in 2012, it was Dexter or Massive attack, or even both...if memory serves. ok but since that cellphone leak, have we heard of Axl continuing to play unreleased stuff? Don't think so? Perhaps he stopped after Fernando asd like - "Boss, you know how you hate those downloading mofos? I saw on Reddit..." pre to that, we heard some stories of him playing stuff but I think the whole leak situation has sured him up in the recent decade....
