Very cool, I just hope the ticket prices aren't ridiculous. Aerosmith charges $100+ if I remember correctly, and Slash usually charges somewhere in the $35-$60 region. Though I guess that's related to the size of the venue? Hopefully it would be co-headlining too, not just Slash opening.

Axl - Hammerstein Ballroom 5/17/06, Continental Airlines Arena 11/08/06, Susquehanna Bank Center 11/26/11   VR - Starland Ballroom 5/18/07, PNC Bank Arts Center 8/17/07
Slash - Borgata 5/22/10 and 9/17/10,  Terminal 5 9/14/10 and 5/7/15, Ram's Head 5/3/12 and 5/13/15, Irving Plaza 5/22/12, Wellmont Theatre 8/3/12, House of Blues 9/14/12, Sands Bethlehem Event Center 7/16/13, Jones Beach Theater 7/10/14

I really do think that it's going to be Slash opening.

Anywho, I'm not happy with this news at all for various reasons.

interesting considering Alter Bridge is direct support for Aerosmith at Download and a headline show elsewhere in Europe this summer. I'm in! just give me a date in/around CT! pending ticket prices....

:vomit:

Saw Aerosmith once, they sucked. Had tickets to see them twice more and they cancelled both. 3 strikes and they're out.

Saw them quite some time ago and they were great, one of the best live acts I've seen. That was around the Just Push Play tour.

"Within three years, he succeeded in alienating his entire band and replaced them with session musicians. He got the full control he wanted and only had to turn Guns N’ Roses into a soulless revival act to do it."

I'd rather see this than Queen w/ Adam Lambert. :book:

Slash and Joe Perry on the same night, hell yeah!
