Former Guns N’ Roses drummer Steven Adler and his band Adler’s Appetite have announced that they’ll be touring Australia for the very first time this May.

The tour is to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Guns N’ Roses’ debut album Appetite for Destruction, which will be performed in its entirety.

These performances will also feature a Q&A session with Adler and his mother Deanna, who has retained heaps of personal keepsakes from throughout her son’s five-year stint with the band.

As for the current lineup of Guns N’ Roses, their Not in This Lifetime… Tour has become the fourth highest-grossing tour of all time, earning over $480 million to date.

As much as i have a huge respect for steven why does he want to bring a band and play appetite?. Is this going to be stevens musical out let for the nextg 10 years?. Appetite was made by 5 people not 1. This is about the same as SKMC announcing they would play appetite beginning to end. With myles high pitched voice i would peobably leave half way through.

What else would he play to attract a crowd? If he was to come here and play appetite, I'd probably go. Other stuff that I don't know? I wouldn't.

Steven is all about nostalgia.

I hope he manages to pull this off and make it a success.

I'm so happy for him. I would love to see him so much if he comes to Europe!

The last chance to hear that cowbell on Nightrain and Think About You and Rocket Queen intro...

I hope he ll announce the european dates soon but I am afraid that he won t come to Austria or CEE. Let s hope he proves us wrong. I would go everywhere within 5 hours car drive from vienna to see him first time live ...

I would like to see him more than anything. Unfortunately I highly doubt he will visit Easter or Central Europe.

I drove 10 hours from Serbia to see GNR in Vienna last summer. I would love to be able to be in position to see him for the first time.

Im glad to see him persisting ownward, traveling to a cool part of the world and playing the songs he loves. It would be cool if he did some post-AFD songs like You Could Be Mine and Back Off Bitch afterwards (as an encore), since he finally played those live at that Argentinian cover band's gig a couple of years back.

Why do you ask?

1.30 show would not be long but there are several bands I like that unfortunately have 1.30 as standard duration of a concert. Skid Row is one of them. I love them but I am always pissed off cause they dont play longer.

I believe he's gonna play some of those songs and probably some Adler songs too.

I hope he'll have a great band by his side.

Because if we know how long - perhaps we can guess what others song Steven will play. AFD5 is 1 hour. If he plays 2 hours perhaps we get some UYI and Lies stuff and Back from the Dead...

Wish he'd ad a meet and greet and Q&A for us fans going to the LA Whiskey A GoGo show.

I know! Has any body heard of anything else Steven might be doing in LA (in addition to the Whiskey show) to commemorate AFD30?

I met him at a drumming clinic back in 08 i think in sydney. Very approachable and you can tell his in it for the fans.

I never thought about it before but I'd like it if Adler did one of these tours in the US again soon. I bet it's a real treat to watch him drum the AFD stuff in person.

Looking forward to whatever video come from this tour and hoping for a US one later this year!
