I remember an interview with the artist for that image saying Axl approached him to use it but because of the turmoil and situation in China(the artist was born/living in China), they had to decline.... I wonder if there really was a plan to re-release over the last couple of years, and it never made it past a limited run of promotional pressings or whatever. Cool stuff. Some one has simply taken the CD cover and changed the words from gold to red, and added an image by the same artist who created the orther similar works of art. Why chop the are work.
