They were fantastic the other night, even better than when I saw them at Twickeham Stadium in 2008 (Probably though aided by the fact that it was a smaller, indoor venue at Nottingham and I was about 4th row for the whole show), so have a great time! Would have gone to one of the 02 shows too but couldn't afford it

Late about it, but the Zombie show was pretty good, as usual. We didn't stay for Slayer though, because oddly, they were closing, and most of the fans around us were there for them and we didn't feel like putting up with the roughness and obnoxiousness of them.

Here are some pictures I took with my phone:

EDIT: More on topic, I had to skip out on the U2 show in Pittsburgh on the 26th, which was really hard, and I'm still upset about it, because it was the last state show, and they had a fantastic setlist, and even ended with Bad.

Anyway, I might try to hit up a show or two of the Jay-Z and Kanye west tour in a couple months. Other than those, nothing.

Glad you had a good time at Rob Zombie, BS. He was great as usual in Toronto last weekend too. I think for the RZ/Slayer tour, they're swapping who "opens" every other night. Surprisingly, Slayer was great in Toronto too. Much better than when I saw them at Sonisphere last year. Same demographics though, TONS of people for Slayer and not too many for Zombie. We took off before his encore to beat traffic, and the festival was probably a third less crowded than when Slayer played.

Yeah, I figured they were going to alternate, but I was kind of happy Rob came on first, because I was sick and already tired before he had even come on, and neither of us were that interested in Slayer, so I'm glad I got to see Rob first while I had more energy than if he had come on second.

Pretty cool you guys got Lords of Salem as the encore. I was hoping he would play some different songs than usual, or at least maybe Werewolf Woman of the S.S. or Werewolf Baby, but it didn't happen. Oh well, still a great show, and I'll see him any time he comes around

^ Seeing Iron Maiden next Friday in London.

HOLY.

SHIT.

IT.

WAS.

AWESOME.

Friday night was certainly more fun, but the band was on fire last night...hands down the best 2 Maiden shows I've ever seen! The O2 is a great venue for them, I'd return in a heartbeat. And the security were great to the people on the barrier, handing out water all night which was a huge help when it got really rough.

How many of their shows have you been to?

Saturday was number 17 for me overall, and 6 this year. The only other show that even came close to the O2 shows for me was Madison Square Garden last year.
