I personally think Tommy won't come back

Having seen the positive reaction to Duff's return, I doubt very much he would feel wanted by the fans and that I think is something that would be hard to enjoy upon return. The news articles from all over the world haven't been about Tommy being away, they've been about Duff coming back.

I also don't buy the argument that he's done so much for Axl and deserves to be there. He was hired by Axl, he played his bass well but he was there for a reliable paycheck, and he knows that he's a hired musician. I doubt he considers himself to be an authentic member of Guns N' Roses, I imagine he gets his feelings of authenticity from The Replacements

I think Duff is totally open to the idea of going back but is his idea of G n R in line with the version that currently exists? That's where it could all fall down. Will he feel like he has a say in matters, which he should as an original member

Welcome back Duff. And like i said before, if Tommy is out, maybe Bucket can step in.

Bucket's issues were with Del James as much as Tommy. There isn't anyone who would want Bucket back more than me but there is more chance of Axl and Slash reconciling than Axl putting out several new albums and putting the nostalgia shows in their place in order to give Bucket a reason to return.
