Georgy Zhukov
Prostitution is a hair away from legalized, there's loopholes when it comes to escorting. You don't pay for the sex, you pay for the time spent. But it would be an economical way to eliminate pimps and gangs. But what will become a rap music?

DieselDaisy
If you remove the guns you are merely removing the meansWhich is a bad thing how?I never said it was a ''bad thing''; I actually believe the United States should have firearm legislation. What I am saying is, nobody seems to be asking why these young people continue to do this?

What I am saying is, nobody seems to be asking why these young people continue to do this?"because mental health!' Yeah, we can prescribe them meds, maybe they can seek therapy. What happens if they accidently dump their anti-psychotics down the drain? What if their car breaks down and have no one to drive them? The withdrawls kick in, oh look there's a gun! shades
I don't think anything productive, once again, will come out of this shooting in regards to addressing the problem.Hillary, representing the entire liberal view has gone on record that she wants to use her likelyhood of assigning the next Supreme court justice under her term in the WH to be so far left that he or she will side with her belief that the second amendment has somehow been misinterpreted all these years. When politicians and debaters alike take a strong ideological stance on the constitution, wanting to over rule the will of the people through 5 unelected lawyers sitting on some throne somewhere in Washington it digs a wedge between compromise. She has stated the same thing on gay marriage, womens rights, and who knows what else she will come up with. It's target polling at certain issues. It's pandering and phony. If she thought the NRA would back her she would sell her soul to the devil, does anyone doubt that? The left has become desperate, very "maybe Joe Biden" is the answer desperate, the very bowells of desperation. And on an issue as sensitive as Gun laws I wish they would leave their political hats at the door and lets do something about a very real problem. Val22
I don't understand how having a better gun control law can stop these crazies from buying illegal guns?I watched the news tonight and of course they showed a picture of the killer and his name, which I don't remember, but anyway, he got his 15 minutes + of fame. The reporter talked to a survivor who was shot in the back and played dead. She said the killer picked out a kid and handed him an envelop and then killed himself. I'm sure the contents will be told soon.Reporters are saying they still don't know why the killer did this? What does it matter now? He's killed 12 people and himself. I won't change a damn thing now.
Dazey
I don't understand how having a better gun control law can stop these crazies from buying illegal guns?Well pretty much every one of these mass shootings have been carried out using legally held weapons. So there's a good chance that sensible gun laws would have stopped a lot of them.

Crazy person then goes, ''well, looks like I will not be able to kill a bunch of people in my school. I'll just give up then''.

Fact is that without a gun he's not going to be able to do anywhere near as much damage. Also these losers are just basically a bunch of fucking nerds. Not the kind of people who would have much luck getting hold of weapons on the black market.
DieselDaisy
I do not agree in the slightest. The thing about legislation is you have to bottle up an entire gun culture and all of those legally obtained weapons. You have to record them and criminalise them or at a very minimum licence them. Now it is possible to buy a gun in Britain on the black market which has never possessed a gun culture so how are you going to bottle up an entire American gun culture? Dazey
This is the application form for a UK gun licence. Don't see why something like this couldn't be implemented. http://basc.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/downloads/2014/10/Firearmshotgunform.pdf

Now it is possible to buy a gun in Britain on the black market which has never possessed a gun culture so how are you going to bottle up an entire American gun culture?It really doesn't matter if you agree on principle or not, the statistics on the volume of gun homicides per million people detailed fairly comprehensively here show that the U.S. has a problem an order of magnitude larger than any other advanced economy. Unless you're arguing that Americans are more genetically predisposed to commit mass murder, then your argument that taking away the most common implement of aforementioned mass murder would have no impact on the number of mass murders committed seems nonsensical.TotalsPer Capita # COUNTRY AMOUNT DATE GRAPH 1 South Africa 700.98 2002 2 Colombia 531.29 2002 3 Slovakia 438 2002 4 Thailand 313.99 2002 5 El Salvador 239.83 2002 6 Philippines 95.21 2002 7 Zimbabwe 47.31 2002 8 Albania 41.37 2002 9 Uruguay 32.76 2002 10 United States 32.57 2002 11 Costa Rica 32 2002 12 Mexico 24.42 2002 13 Slovenia 19.55 2002 14 Czech Republic 17.74 2002 15 Croatia 17.12 2002 16 Peru 16.54 2002 17 Estonia 15.46 2002 18 Azerbaijan 14.68 2002 19 Republic of Macedonia 12.53 2002 20 Latvia 11.97 2002 21 Switzerland 9.33 2002 22 Portugal 8.68 2002 23 Bulgaria 8.01 2002 24 Sweden 6.5 2002 25 Bolivia 5.88 2002 26 Moldova 5.52 2002 27 Lithuania 4.61 2002 28 Canada 4.59 2002 29 Cyprus 4.08 2002 30 Belarus 3.85 2002 31 Hungary 3.74 2002 32 Ukraine 3.59 2002 33 Germany 3.26 2002 34 Austria 3.09 2002 35 Ireland 3.05 2002 36 Australia 3 2002 37 Poland 2.9 2002 38 Denmark 2.6 2002 39 New Zealand 2.53 2002 40 Spain 2.35 2002 41 Chile 0.569 2002 42 Burma 0.548 2002 43 Japan 0.369 2002 44 United Kingdom 0.236 2002 45 Morocco 0.0341 2002 =46 Luxembourg 0.0 2002 =46 Iceland 0.0 2002 =46 Oman
