Several times he's said he'd be up for it if the others were up for it. I don't know why everyone assumes Izzy just wouldn't want to do it. But it's a big world, and Axl was right when he talked about going to the places the cameras weren't. If you want to be in the spotlight it's easy to find, but if you want to be out of it then it's easy to disappear. I also remember hearing stories of him turning down pictures with people when he is recognized. I think he knows how fast things circulate and I assume his privacy matters to him even more when he's not touring. I think he's going through some changes to his appearance right now also based on his lack of appearances. We seem to be back in those 03-05 and 07-09 time periods. So maybe this one is 14-? Then you could start thinking in the hundreds or millions of dollars. But in 2016? There is no way. Casual rock fans stopped caring. At least not at first, which is probably why they seem to be focusing primarily on festivals for now.Maybe the plan is to do just festivals in 2016, do their best at it so that word gets around that they're good again, and then do a proper tour in 2017? If Axl's voice chokes (which it likely will), any chance GnR ever had of regaining their street Cred will be lost forever. Plus the instrumental section of the Super Bowl performance is always pre-recorded. Never in a million years would the nfl let GNR anywhere near the halftime show, due to axls history of tardiness, and the possibility of anything happening which the NFL can't control ...
