joaompc Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 Do you guys think that with the reunion there will be official releases of old material? They have so many hours of live footage that should be released. Led Zeppelin did it.. They should release all... That's what I hope for. What do you think?
supercool Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 there will never be a better time to release that kind of material.
James Bond Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 I've always suggested that with the material they have a "KISSology" style release would be amazing.
Silent Jay Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 Live Like A Suicide 30th anniversary would be great.http://gunsnroses.com/discography
Gordon Comstock Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 (edited) Live Like A Suicide 30th anniversary would be great.http://gunsnroses.com/discographyLLAS re-issued with a real, remastered '86 club set added on would be so great. I'm sure Marc would have some decent quality recordings somewhere, even if the band doesn't Edited January 2, 2016 by Gordon Comstock 1
Tom-Ass Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 Man I would kill for some good quality Blu Rays from that era... The Re-mastered UYI's is a great idea too.
TOS--LOA Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Man I would kill for some good quality Blu Rays from that era... The Re-mastered UYI's is a great idea too.I have a remastered UYI from around 2000. It's the gold plated cds. Haven't listened in a while but I remember it sounding cleaner. Not particularly better or worse though.
F*ck Fear Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 A new live release on Blu-Ray would be awesome!
t-p-d-a Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 That would be great. I hope so.. please Uncle Axl..I have 51 Bootlegs from the Use Your Illusion Era and I watched them all.. They should release a Blu Ray version of a 91 Concert with Izzy and a concert from the Skin N' Bones Tour..
The Macaroni Incident? Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 It's about time to remaster the UYIsHow about a remix instead?I'm thinking of what Pearl Jam did with Ten reissue in 2009.
Rovim Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 (edited) It's about time to remaster the UYIsMaybe Axl can rerecord with Fortus, Frank, and Steven and let Izzy rerecord his parts as well. Add more phone calls in the middle of songs. Like a remake instead of just a remaster.Drop My World, and add This I Love with a Slash solo and rasp.Or you know... just don't touch it cause it sounds great. Still sounds great. Imperfections and all. Edited January 3, 2016 by Rovim
The Macaroni Incident? Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 (edited) Oh, how I do wish that little guitar part starting at 6:34 wasn't buried in the mix on the official release. It has a "Layla" vibe. Edited January 3, 2016 by The Macaroni Incident?
Strange Broue Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Oh, how I do wish that little guitar part starting at 6:34 wasn't buried in the mix on the official release. It has a "Layla" vibe.I only wanna hear the YCBM demo, alternate take or whatever. That's the only great song which we doesn't have a demo version 1
ChristmasFnatic Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 A new live release on Blu-Ray would be awesome! This!!!
The Macaroni Incident? Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 08/03/91, the 4 hour show, on DVD.
SoundOfAGun Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 It's about time to remaster the UYIsIt would be cool to hear alternative mixes as well; leaner, more stripped back versions and drums that are not dripping in reverb. 1
